  • Excellent bag, but will it last?
This bag is huge; at least, compared to my old zildjian cheapo, it is. It's got several pockets, so you can stash some drum keys, and maybe even a tuner if you're being cheeky. I'm not very rough on my equipment, usually, but I'm not delicate either. My old bag has barely a scratch on it, but I wasn't gigging much, and it was cheap material anyway. This bag is definitely more bang for your buck; it's huge, and it's got a loop to hang it within arms reach. You can fit some mallets, and still have room for your brushes and sticks, arranged by size. It's just not the nicest fabric, but if you don't throw it around, it'll be fine. I'm gonna gig again soon, so we'll see. ... show more

  • What a BEAST of a stick bag!!!!!
This is a nice and roomy stick bag. It’s almost twice as large as my other stick bag. You can fit a lot of stuff in this bag. Here’s a list of what I currently have in it: Five pair of sticks from 5A up to marching sticks A pair of cymbal mallets A pair of brushes A pair of Finger Shots One foot tambourine Two drum keys One Shure SM57 One 20’ XLR cable Two writing pens One stand light And, I have room left for a partridge and a pair tree! I believe I could get a vibraslap in there if I wanted to. The various pocket sizes make it easier to separate sticks and keep them organized so they don’t get jumbled up together. The two outside padded pockets are large enough for a tablet, a stack of charts, or cables. The bag comes with a removable shoulder strap if you need to keep a hand free for carrying other gear. I’m really liking it so far. For attaching to a floor tom or other drum, It has elastic straps with hooks that retract, which is nice. Now here is the only gotcha I’ve seen so far. Because it’s attached to the drum with elastic straps and this beast has so much room for storing stuff, it may sag a bit as you put more stuff in the bag and it gets heavier. Mine was okay on my 14” djembe but I really wanted it to be a little more stable so I beefed it up by adding two bungee cords hooked to the shoulder strap hoops. That did the trick. I imagine any bag using elastic straps could experience this issue. It’s probably a little more likely with this bag because it’s so awesomely HUGE. Overall, I really like the LOUDmouth bag and I’m looking forward to using it. ... show more

  • Where has this been all of my life?
As a drummer for over 20 years, I have seen my share of bags. I have used so many brands and styles, I cannot even remember them all. I have bought expensive bags while playing in orchestras and cheap bags while playing in rock bands. This bag has a ton of storage. First it has divided 2 tiered stuck storage. That it a must in a professional bag. You can easily group stick and mallets for known access. Then there are the pockets. Out front there is a huge bockerlt that can store a small binder or notebook. Then there is a padded pocket that is perfect to store my iPad. Inside you get even more pockets, including some padded pockets. You can store in rear monitors, drum keys, small tools, etc. The bag feels strong and is mad from a water resistant material. I accidentally knocked a bottle of water over 5 minutes after.putting my iPad it. Fortunately, it remains completely dry inside. I am not say you should throw it in a pool or anything, but it will be okmif caught in the rain. I am known to carry a heavy bag and I can't fill this thing up. I can easily store whatever I need for any scenario. To make thigs better, this is an amazing price. I have paid 2 and 3 times this price for what turned out to be inferior bags. If this thing lasts, this may be one of my best purchases ever. My stick bag holds the tools I need to do a job. ... show more

  • I'm gonna need more sticks!
Having been a drummer/percussionist for over 40 years, I've had and seen my share of stick bags. I've been using a Pearl bag that literally has two main pockets for sticks and a small pocket for a drum key. Compared to that, this thing is super deluxe! It's almost twice as wide (folded) as my regular stick bag, and has a big pocket in the front that you could literally put a binder in. Also front and back are two big same-sized zippered and soft-lined pockets, carry handles, and hideaway floor tom clips that stretch out on elastic when you need them and retract when you don't. That's just the outside! Inside, you have a massive amount of space with each side featuring top and bottom divided pockets for sticks and mallets, etc. I like that the pockets are divided differently so you can keep pairs together, rather than just everything mixing in one large pocket. The right side has an open mesh pocket and the left side has a zippered and lined pocket was well as a dividable (Velcro) pocket behind it. I just don't have enough stuff to fill all these pockets! I imagine if you put a binder, practice pad, metronome, etc., as well as all your sticks and mallets, this thing would get quite heavy. Luckily a shoulder strap is also included! To round it all out, this LOUDmouth stick bag features durable material and stitching, high-quality easy zippers with rubber grabs, and it just plain looks and feels great! For your average kit drummer who doesn't keep brushes, mallets, and lots of different sizes of sticks, this bag is probably overkill. It is about twice the cost of smaller and simpler bags, but it is more than twice the bag, and if you need lots of space for your percussion stuff, I can definitely recommend this bag from LOUDmouth! ... show more
