  • Great stick/gear bag
I got this bag because it's larger than a normal stick bag. Fits a ton of sticks, plus some pockets for in-ear monitors, drum keys, tune bot, moon gels, or whatever else you carry. I also liked the front pockets for sheet music or books. It's well made. Doesn't seem flimsy at all. Should last a long time. ... show more

  • Lots of room
I really like this bag. There is a huge amount of room for all your sticks and the bag is sturdy. There are multiple zipper compartments. There are several levels of stick/mallet pockets so you can see your long and short sticks/ mallets and the short ones dont get lost down in the pockets. The compartments and pockets keep everything secure. This bag is a great value for the money. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • A little flimsy. Tons of space. Strap and handle material look a little lightweight.
Ordered this large drumstick bag as a possible replacement for an older bag that I have. I don't really compare things in my reviews, but think that this would be an exception since we are talking about quality, space, organization, durability, value, etc. My current (much older) bag is a Ludwig Atlas (LX31AP) stick bag. If I can remember, I have been using it for ten years or so. It isn't huge, but is bigger than most of the standard stick bags that I have in my garage. The new LOUDmouth bag looked like it would be a great upgrade and would accommodate all my junk. I believe the price for my old stick bag and this new LOUDmouth one were about the same. I'm currently still switching back and forth between this new LOUDmouth bag and my older Atlas bag to see if it is time to finally replace the older one or repair it. The LOUDmouth bag looks pretty clean and simple. It's definitely got a lot of width on the inside with quite a few dividers. This makes it easy to organize mallets, sticks, brushes, rods, etc. The only thing about this is that if you are used to having just open pockets and being able to shuffle items around in your own order, you are a little more limited. Because of this, I was having a little bit of a time trying to transfer all of the contents from my older Atlas bag into this new one. This LOUDmouth one definitely had a ton of space for my tools, pencils, IEM case, keys/wallet/phone, and more on both the outside and inside. For durability, the new bag I am using by LOUDmouth doesn't seem to be as beefy as my older bag or a few new ones that I've used. When I pulled it out of packaging, I noticed that the bag itself was not stiff or did not have any supportive structure inside like some of the bags I used and my current one. The straps and handles seemed kind of on the thin side compared to my old bag. The material was also thinner on the outer fabric of the bag itself, when compared to my older bag that has been tossed around for years. The hardware for the clips/hooks were also not as heavy-duty as my older bag or my other stick bags I use, including the zipper. Overall, though, I feel that the LOUDmouth bag is made really well. It might not have have as heavy-duty material/fabric/hardware as my older bag does, but I feel that what it does have is quality construction. There is also so much space that, even after loading it with everything from my old bag, I was still scratching my head with what I could probably put into it from my backpack. I really like this newer bag. But, after ten or so years of using my older beast of a bag, I am still hesitant to make a full switch and am waiting to see how this LOUDmouth one holds up after getting tossed around. ... show more

  • Very good Bag, Large & Robust
After having a couple of drumstick bags from imitation leather which didn't hold for too long before starting to tear, this one from sturdy fabric seems to be way more robust. There's plenty of room for all my son's sticks & mallets and he's pretty happy with it
