This is a heavy unit, so be prepared. The quality is very good. However, the design needs a bit of tweaking or I would have given it 5 stars. When trying to attach the side panels together with the attached crossbars, it was very hard to get a complete alignment of the front crossbars to the right side. Not all of them were flush with the edge. Another problem was that when I'd try to get it together, the wooden dowels would fall out, so I finally had to put a piece of glue on the tips of them, inserted them, and walked away to let them set. But again, I still could not get all the crossbars flush. I spent a LONG time doing it over and over and trying to figure out why, what's wrong with it!! So I thought maybe if I put the cam-locks in, they would pull the crossbars flush? Nope. So the end result is that the drawers are a bit off and I'm going to have to sand down a bit off the side of the top drawer where it scuffs against the top edge. That's disappointing. The thing is it's a nice unit with quality put into each piece - if only I hadn't had the difficulty with the front crossbars!! Another issue however, is that I do NOT approve of their sending me a card with an offer to receive a $30 Amazon gift card if I gave them a 5-star review. That is not ethical at all. Some people might change their idea of how many stars to give them based not on their actual experience, but on getting the $30 gift card. I'm not someone who can be bought that way. Reviews need to be real, not bought. If they just tweaked the design so it's better, the unit would easily draw 5-star reviews all by itself without needing to 'buy' the reviews. ... show more
