This film completely blew me away. If you were around in the eighties or even if you weren't, this movie is a time machine. Topher Grace, Teresa Palmer(TOTAL KNOCKOUT) and Dan Fogler make this an unforgettable movie to the point where I had to buy my own copy so I could watch it multiple times. The music just kills in this one as well. The film deals with the post college twilight zone some of us have experienced in which you fall short of your goals and end up having to work a dead end job. Then one day you have a chance encounter with your high school crush and you lie about what you do for a living in order save face and at least appear successful. This sets up a wild string of events which are highly amusing along with a great story with a message. ... show more

I like the Emma Stone character since I saw Easy A and she seems to be a good actress. I hope she has a long movie career. The movie itself is okay but you may want to rent it before buying it.

This DVD is the edition released by Universal Studios Home Entertainment, as per the amazon item description, but the cover looks different than the cover pictured on the product page on amazon. The attached picture shows what the cover picture of the DVD I received from amazon looks like. I am a little disappointed since I expected the DVD cover to correspond to the picture for this item shown on amazon. The title text font and arrangement is completely different, and the picture shown on amazon has brighter colors and a more appealing look. ... show more

    • Funny and Crazy!
I'm a huge Topher Grace fan, I loved him in That 70s Show so I was wondering how his acting continued and I've seen him in 3 films so far. He is a great actor and even though I'm not a party girl like they are in this film, it was still a great film.

Fun story about a group of highschool friends who attend a post-college, end-of-summer party and making career choices in the 80s. The moral of the story is, don't be afraid to take chances because you might not get a chance to do it later.
