  • Attractive Style.
I bought this for my husband's birthday with the expectation he might wish to return it for a different style. He loved it. He said he especially likes the band which is a bit unusual. We had to have a couple of links taken out at a local jeweler with no problem.

  • Its ok, its a good watch but I prefer the older tag s/el's
I spent a handful of days with this watch before returning it. Its a nice watch and all, but it just didn't compare to my older early 90s s/el. That watch is so far superior in comfort compared to this one, and for some reason just has such a better feel to me. Its not as modern looking as the link, but for some reason to me it just, I see a lot of fossils and kenneth powers brands that look similar to this. It just didn't do it for me at all. After I returned it, I picked up a sweet vintage omega speedmaster on ebay for just a hair more, and -- at least for me -- feel it was the right move. This is a great looking watch, it just wasn't my cup of tea. ... show more

  • Beauty in steel
This was a wedding gift to my husband, nearing a decade. Originally purchased from Macy's. He's loved wearing it better than a wedding band. He favors the silver tone (brushes as well as polished) and goes well along with his white wedding band when wears it. I've had it serviced a few times and it's best to do this always with a professional to ensure correct pressurization. Now, I'm highly considering purchasing one from Amazon since it seems to have a wide selection and well priced. It'll save me a trip around town looking for the one I'm thinking of purchasing. ... show more

  • Watch Made for the Ages!
I have owned this watch for 16 years now and love it. It has been through rough times and still works very well with little issues. (12'oclock dial indent fell off once) The only downside I see to this watch is the cost for yearly maintenance. Normally I pay around $150 USD every 3-4 years to get the battery and seals redone to keep the watch in tip top shape. Recently I had the watch repolished to remove blemishes and scratches on the metal. Cost was around $300 USD (included battery and seal change). The glass has never been scratched even though I have hit a few times on walls while walking. Very durable watch. ... show more

  • Extremely Satisfied
I received this watch as a graduation gift about a 18 months ago and it is the best watch I've ever worn. It feels wonderful on my wrist looks great in any situation. I wear it every day, and usually take it off if I am doing anything active. The crystal has no scratches after everyday use and the bezel has two very tiny scratches. All I have ever owned are Seiko and Casio watches and both get scratches within a month or so. What I found really amazing was the accuracy of this watch. The only time I have ever adjusted this watch is for daylight savings. Over a 6 month period, it will not stray more than a minute from what time my cell phone says. I don't see how that's possible with a battery and some gears, but those Swiss figured it out. On a side note, it was fun to see that I had the same watch as one of my friend's father at a wedding a few months back. He's heads the retirement fund investment division of one of the giant monster mega banks. I didn't drive away in the same car he came in however... ... show more
