Tag Heuer is a polarizing brand of watches. Maybe it's because of their movie star marketing campaigns and a perception that they are a bit overpriced for what you get. but this entry level Tag Heuer is a really nice addition to my collection. Here's a few reasons why: First, the color and design of the face are superb. A gentle and versatile blue is highlighted by the horizontal lines in the face. There's some intricate detail in the contrasts of polished and brushed steel, and all the various little facets on and around the bezel. It also keeps great time (2.5 seconds per day), and feels solid and robust. I like the etched numbers around the bezel (as opposed to painted) because they make the "diver" aspect more subtle. It's versatile as a daily wear, and goes with jeans as well as a suit. It's clean, classy, sporty, masculine, and subtle all in one package. In short, this is just an all around excellent buy (so long as you're paying less that $1300 for it). ... show more

I bought this watch for my husband in February 2015 for his birthday.It was a terrible buy and didn't even make it to 6 month mark.The watch had to be wound up everyday,it never kept time.We contacted Tag Heuer a couple of weeks ago and they contacted us promptly and instructed my husband how to wind up the watch.Shortly after the watch stopped working all together.When we emailed them to let them know they never responded.Horrible watch and horrible after service ! ... show more

My First Tag and I am glad my wife asked me to choose before she bought it. I absolutely love it. The dial is beautifully done with the pattern and color that simply make you enjoy looking at and wearing it. The weight is heavy enough to know real quality went into the piece. The Case being 40.5mm is perfect for my 6.25" (small) wrist. The 12mm case thickness is not very thick, and certainly does not look bulky on the wrist. Being a Tag, it's sporty enough for a casual soiree or sophisticated enough for an elegant event. I've had this watch for a week now and have worn it everyday since. I will update this review as time passes to give readers an update on how the timepiece holds up and performs. ... show more

    • Only fools buy Tag Heuer from Amazon.
These watches are sketchy, they were refurbed or ill-gotten. You will have thrown away your money when it fails because Amazon will disappear when you need help with it. Try calling the Amazon watch 800 repair number for watches, it plays five commercials and then hangs up on you.

Got this for my son as graduation present. I have to say I was a little envious when I receive it. It's really nice in person and the blue face goes really well with jeans or a more formal attire. This is an excellent all rounder, great design, stunning finish, the dial is absolutely exquisite. Timekeeping has been also for me very good, within COSC specs although this is not rated as such.
