Description

TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company's reputation grew, and Heuer's first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few. Over the years, Heuer's reputation for gold-standard precision earned the company the privilege of providing official timing services for a number of world-class competitive sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup, and the FIA Formula 1 World Championships. To this day, TAG Heuer maintains a close association with the world of competitive sports and enjoys a devoted following among sports celebrities and enthusiasts. In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence, creating prestigious timepieces that are always at the cutting edge of precision, reliability and style. Stainless steel case, Stainless steel bracelet, black dial, Automatic movement, Scratch-resistant sapphire, Water resistant up to 30 ATM - 300 Meters - 1000 Feet.

  • Broken 7 months later. No help from Amazon. Amazon not authorized dealer.
I own several fine watches including a few nice Tag Heuer watches. This watch may be a counterfeit because it felt low quality from the first day I examined it, not at all like every other Tag I own . Unfortunately, I didn't even look at it before the 30 day return policy expired. Now, 7 months later it does not work at all, the winding mechanism that was stiff and difficult from the start has now jammed completely. I have now learned I cannot even return it for repair through Amazon because they are apparently NOT an authorized dealer. I now have to hope that Tag Heuer will honor the warranty (providing it is genuine Tag Heuer). Don't make the same mistake I did. Last time I will ever buy anything valuable from Amazon for this reason. ... show more

  • Tag Aquaracer WAY2110 - Daily "diver"/ Dressy Refined Time Piece
The Tag Aquaracer just came in and I am blown away by it. I'll explain below. I honestly started this whole process of picking between two watches thinking in my mind that the winner would be the Longines Conquest for the simple fact that I was looking for a watch that I could wear daily and more casually but was also dressier and a more elegant type of watch then your regular SS diver. (having already tried the CW C60 Trident and not liking it very much - and that watch is a lot dressier then other divers on the market) The TAG Aquaracer is such a refined watch in real life. Pictures really don't do this watch justice at all. My opinion about the watch from the pictures I've seen online before receiving it today was that it was a nice looking watch but a bit too meaty for a dress watch. I was so wrong. When you hold this in your hand and put it on your wrist, you get a totally different vibe from it. it's refined, dressy but masculine, light and thin (very important for me) for an SS diver watch and it just oozes quality from every angle. The bracelet is beautiful and it just hugs your wrist due to the smaller links. It just feels great on your wrist. The watch shines, but just enough, from every angle. Enough to attract some attention but it's not the "bling in your face" type of shine. The polished and matte surfaces work so well together, it's really amazing. Like a well designed piece of fine jewelry. That's the best way I can explain it. In comparison, the Longines Conquest is a lot heavier, bulkier and less refined. The Conquest is still a superb quality built watch but in a different sense. More of a daily beater then a dress it up type compared to the Aquaracer. (and I didn't think I was going to say that about the Longines but in comparison that's how it feels) The TAG Aquaracer might bit a bit small for someone that has a bigger wrist and is looking for a modern looking stand-out diver watch. (it is smaller then I thought from the pictures but for me it really works) To get an idea, I have a 7" wrist and I think this watch is the absolute perfect size for me but I would not mind i if it was 1-3mm larger. I could still wear it and like it a lot. If the Conquest seems bulky compared to the Aquaracer, the CW C60 is really a beast compared the two. (3 way comparison pic below) The guilloche dial on the Aquaracer is also something else. The Longines Conquest dial looks bland, boring and flat in comparison. So much more detail on the TAG dial. If anyone else is considering this watch I would recommend you go put one on your wrist first. This whole experience was an eye opener for me: you just cannot tell from the pictures. You have to feel it and wear it. What I liked about the Longines: - quality construction - screw in pins - the crown guards What I like about the Tag Aquaracer - everything (no screw in pins, but I can live without them. plus I get a moving bezel as a bonus) In conclusion, the clear winner is the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Caliber 5 (model: WAY2110.BA0910). In all honesty I can say this watch is everything I was looking for in a casual, interesting and modern but dressy watch. I couldn't be more happy with my choice and after few months of looking and trying watches, I doubt there is anything on he market in this price range that could rival this watch for me. ... show more

  • Poor sales, poor service
Poor sales, poor service, we buy brand new watches, in less than a year to stop working repeatedly, you do not say this is a qualified watch, any one of the qualified watch will not continue after the repair of such problems , The price of a hundred watches will not have this problem you are cheating customers, I can think you are selling fake watches, it is hard to imagine in the United States and you have such sales service, we can go to authenticate the watch authentic We reserve the legal avenues for you and we have only one request. Withdrawing this watch will not compromise because the watches you sell bring us a lot of trouble. ... show more

Received this watch end of March 2016 and now in August 2016 it will not keep running. I have to shake it like its on my wrist and the watch will start, but within 10 min of not twisting or shaking the watch stops. Extremely disappointed. Paid $1400. I will never buy any thing of high value from Amazon again. ... show more

  • a bit different than your average diver, I love it.
This watch is simply amazing. This is my first high end, luxury watch. The black dial is so clear thru the sapphire glass. The dial feels like a display case for the indices. The indices have 2 angles sloping down left and right from the center (like a paper airplane) which creates a shine when in the light that draws your eyes. The hands feel more dressy than the typical diver watch that usually has fat finger hands. The bezel looks very understated which I really like because it gives it a more dress quality. I am not a fan of watches that are overly heavy on the dive watch style and this watch I feel is mild in that department, almost like a fine featured dive watch with dress watch qualities. The pattern dial really does make everything on the face of this watch pop. The bracelet is very nice, combining brushed and polished steel to make it shine. Great watch and very unique. ... show more
