This is a beautiful TAG Heuer watch.. Buying a TAG through Amazon- As I read through the reviews, i started doing research.. Amazon and it's partners are NOT authorized re-seller of TAG watches, they make no attempt to hide this fact but you may not see it unless you look for it in the fine print.. So what exactly does that mean? The manufacturer warranty is not valid at an authorized re-seller and you will have to return the watch to the company you originally purchased the watch from.. Not such a big deal for over 25% savings. I had a hard time making that decisions but finally i just could come to grips with spending more money for the convenience of a store front. After receiving the watch, I took it to a local Tag re-seller and had the watch checked and engraved, as it was a gift.. While they said there are some really good "knock-offs" on the market and they wouldn't guarantee anything they didn't sell, but this watch was not a fake. To sum it up, an $1800 watch for $1300 is a good deal.. The Watch- As i said above, this is a beautiful watch.. It feels like an expensive watch, it is well made and is heavy. It has a ruggedly elegant look that works well in both a formal and casual settings. It's classic lines will not go out of style any time soon. one thing to note this is not an automatic, that was not obvious to me by the description. If you are on the fence about this watch i will tell you that i gave this watch to my son and expect it to last a lifetime as "The watch my dad bought me for graduation". Great looking and high quality watch but it should be for a $1,000. I'm not very impressed with the band but it's adequate. All in all it's been a good choice as one of my first purchases in the luxury watch category. Up until this and a couple other purchases made about the same time I'd been buying Bulova, Seiko, Citizen, Ingersoll, Sturling and assorted Swiss Military watches. There is a noticeable difference in the quality and feel of this Tag watch and those lower to mid range watches. I like almost all of my watches but do enjoy the luxury watches a bit more. ... show more

The quality of this Tag Heuer watch is excellent. I had my local jeweler size the watch for me. While there he told me that "Tag Heuer watches are known for maintaining their value" and that "the craftsmanship of Tag Heuer watches was one of the best in the industry". The watch looks great and keeps perfect time. The contrast between the minute and hour hands ensures that the time is easy to read, even when I forget my glasses. The date is also easy to read because of the size of the numbers. The price I paid was considerably below the advertised price at a local Tag dealer and at a local national department store! ... show more

This is an amazing watch. It's solid and a good weight, you can feel you are wearing a quality product. I have wanted a Tag since I was very young, thanks to Perfect Timing I managed to get one. I was a bit apprehensive on purchasing something of this price online, but I took the plunge. I received it in 3 days (Cape Town, South Africa) and took it to my local Tag dealer for Valuation and Authenticity, they confirmed it was 100% authentic and valued it at a much higher price than I paid.
