Paid $1,520 for the gray dial Carrera in 2017 and now they’re selling for $3,500 here. Wow!! It’s worth double I paid for it. Turns out to be a good investment, though that wasn’t a factor. The watch has been great. Front crystal is sapphire and a VERY tiny bit rounded (convex) and the crystal itself is not flush with the case, it steps up above the case about 1/2 a MM (see 2nd pic). It’s a nice touch. Simple to set, no lug to unscrew like some in this class. Simple solid feeling click of the lug and that’s it. Everything about this watch feels 1st rate! Sapphire back crystal to display the stellar Caliber 5 movement is still a nice look. It has performed flawlessly for 8 years and still looks almost new. Scratching is inevitable but the crystal and most of the watch looks excellent. It holds up well and wears well with my favorite single button clasp release for simple on and off action. No locking mechanism to be bothered with on the bracelet. I can’t believe it’s $3,500 now. Probably would shift up to Omega at that price but ZERO regrets on this purchase from me. ... show more

Photo on the listing shows a shimmer to the grey face/dial. When inspecting the watch after it arrived, the face was a flat grey like car primer. I returned it for the black face and I love it way more. The grey face seems to hide the hands and it was difficult to read the time.

If it's not real it's a great fake! It has a Tag serial number engraved on the back and was delivered in Tag Heuer boxes along with warranty info and Tag booklet. Second hand moves like a swiss watch is supposed to move. Great deal on this watch.

I purchased this through a different retailer, but wanted to share my opinion. This is my first automatic watch. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I wanted a well-known and elegant watch. I tried several tags on and eventually picked this one. It is very comfortable and goes with literally anything. You could wear it with jeans, shorts, or a suit. The movement is crisp and the time has been amazingly accurate. The gray is elegant in my opinion. When I saw this watch in black it seemed to be too sporty and white seemed to be too formal. Gray offers the perfect mix of both approaches. The watch itself has performed exactly as it should since I've gotten it. Time is well kept, the date is always right, and I can take it off for two days and it will still be the right time. Additionally, the watch doesn't seem to scratch. I've worn it for a few weeks and it looks like the day I bought it. I'm very happy with this watch and it seems you can get an even better deal on Amazon than I got. ... show more
