I'm not a golfer so I was a little turned off to this watch at first but if you're like me and hate taking your watch on and off because it bugs you throughout the day, this one is well worth it. The band is made of silicon as opposed to rubber so it flexes with you throughout the day. What makes this watch unique is the "band buckle" is built into the watch casing, giving you maximum comfort. I've never had to take it off while driving or typing since the band never knocks against anything. In response to another review here about there not being a certificate of authenticity, she is right. However, with Amazon, you get their 5-year warranty and pay about 40% less than you would at a jeweler or in the mall. At one store I was quoted $1250 + tax and they were "throwing in" a 2-year warranty. The box, which is hefty, includes everything you would get except the little card but in my opinion, you get much more value with Amazon. If you're looking for a really comfortable watch, give this one a shot. I think most people would be pleasantly surprised by its feel. ... show more

    • Tag Heuer watches are great... but the ones sold by Amazon (dubious quality)
I've bought this watch February 2011 when I was in NY, and after 2 months I noticed the watch was defective. Went to a Tag Heuer Authorized Dealer here in Brazil, and as the International Warrant Card sent by Amazon is completely blank (because Amazon.com is not a Tag Heuer Authorized Dealer), I would have to pay to have my watch repaired (otherwise, I would not have to pay a dime, to get the watch repaired in any Authorized Dealer around the globe). The diagnostic of the problem was lack of lubrification and some damaged pieces in the internal mechanism (and that was a brand new watch, which I really doubt Tag Heuer would allow something like this to be sold). Felt like the watches are some kind of "second line", or watches that did not passed the quality control; and like so, they don't have an International Warrant. To use the Amazon.com warrant, all the costs to send/receive the watch is on your own. The worst of all is that Amazon.com ask you to send the watch to a company called Swinford Jewelers (in Kentucky), which by the way, it is not a Tag Heuer Authorized Dealer (not listed in Tag Heuer website). I definitely do not recommend buying Tag Heuer watches from Amazon.com. ... show more

I purchased this watch as a gift for my husband who is an avid golfer. He wore it only on the weekends. The band broke within 6 months of purchase. (They advertise it as being indestructible). I sent it back to the Authorized TAG repair in NewYork and they wanted $200 to repair it because they said Amazon is not an authorized dealer. I would of never purchased the watch from Amazon had I known that. I beleive the watch was defective. Amazon would not repair the watch either. ... show more

The watch was exactly as represented and arrived right on time. The watch did not come with the Tag Heuer authentication certificate which was a huge disappointment since this was a gift and can't be repaired by a Tag retailer without this authenticity. The only warranty is through Amazon. I had to jump through many hoops and speak to many reps at Amazon just to find that the card was intentionally missing. Although I'm pretty sure this watch is authentic, I didn't like not knowing that it wouldn't have the original warranty, before I purchased it. Other on-line retailers (including one through Amazon) would have provided this card. ... show more

Un reloj de adecuadas dimensiones, comodo en el uso diario ya que es ligero y como no cuenta con la corona hacia el lado de la mano no lastima al movimiento, el brazalete es de plástico muy flexible se adoza adecuadamente al contorno de la muñeca, al respecto a lo que habia leido en comentarios previos, en mi caso lo he usado diariamente y no he tenido problema alguno respecto a que pierda su adecuada tensión a la muñeca. Me gustaría que la marca se esmerara más en poner marcas luminosas en las horas de adecuada calidad ya que las que tiene este reloj no permiten una adecuada visualización de noche ademas de que no es duradero el efecto luminoso. ... show more

    • TAG Golf Watch Strap
I thought the TAG Golf Watch as endorsed by Tiger Woods, and support from TAG when it was under warrenty and needed a new battery, was great until the strap snapped unexpectedly a few weeks ago. When I looked closely at it there were no signs of wear but it had snapped across a section where the shape of the molding changed - it appeared obviously that this was a manufactured weak point so I assumed it would be replaced quickly and efficiently foc - no such luck - they wanted almost half the cost of a new watch for a replacement strap that had what I considered to be a latent defect with it's manufacturering process. It is now back in it's box and consigned back to the back of the drawer and I would not recommend any TAG products to anyone anymore as they appear to neglect to stand beside their products when it comes to issues. I researched this watch to death; finally decided to buy it at Amazon and count on their warranty, if needed. Worth the cost savings, I think. The watch is beautiful, light, and comfortable. Looks great with casual, athletic, or business clothing. Would highly recommend.
