    • A Magnificent Time Piece!
I made the decision to purchase this watch through Amazon versus the standard brick and mortar dealer primarily due to the significant difference in price. Amazon was roughly $800 less than my local dealer at their "best" discounted price off of MSRP which also included free next day shipping. One might consider this the price to pay in order to obtain a full warranty on the watch as the package includes everything with the exception of a manufacturer's warranty. However, for someone like me, I am not too concerned as finding local sources to service swiss watches such as this is not as hard as you would think. I must say that this watch is a perfect blend of dressy and sport. I can wear it well with my suits in the office as well as with a t-shirt and jeans during the weekend. I absolutely love the look and feel of the S-link bracelet. It fits comfortably on my 6.75" wrist without the need of microadjustment. For those of you who are curious the bracelet will contain two half links to help you reach that "perfect fitment". I love the look of the white dial on this watch much more than the black and also find that the white datewheel looks much better against this dial versus the black. Tag did a great job updating the style of this watch for 2011. So far the watch is keeping incredible time at +2 seconds per day which is well within COSC standards. The valjoux 7750 movement is the same that is used to power my Omega Seamaster Chronograph which is also keeping equivalent accuracy. The only thing that I wish the watch had was a higher water resistance, although at 100 meters you will be fine wearing this in a pool which is about as deep underwater as I personally will ever end up going.     • Unexpected failure
I had this watch for five weeks. After that period, when I wearied it moderately, with no shocks or other abuse, it failed to work. I don't know what happened, but I could hear something rattling inside the watch. I also have some Swiss Made watches (Omega, Longines, Baume& Marcier, Tissot, Zodiac), wearing them for years, in various occasions, but I never encountered any problem. I think for such a big name and the price you pay for it, failure to work in such conditions is totally unacceptable, so I do not recommend this brand. Thanks to Amazon for accepting the return of this watch even after the usual period, for a full refund. My recommendation: stay away of this watch or brand! ... show more

    • Gorgeous Watch!
Looks nicer in person, the white face is more of a cream or flesh color then vanilla white, which looks a lot nicer to me. The watch is massive and is heavy, but the S-link bracelet does it's magic and the watch feels lighter when actually worn. The watch is expensive in a subdued sort of way. People will know you are wearing an expensive watch wihout hitting them over the head with glitz like a Breitling. P.S. After wearing this watch of a couple of days it became very noticible that it was hard to read, the lack of contrast between the hands and the watch face made it very difficult. Took it back to the AD (who has 30 trial policy) and exchanged it for the black faced model, which is stunning and a hell of a lot easier to read. ... show more

I guess my only complaint is that this timepiece is a little heavy and thick for my 6.25” wrist. However, I was able to adjust the bracelet to optimize comfort. Other than that, the watch is absolutely gorgeous and of the highest level of design and craftsmanship that TAG is known for. My wife and I looked at sever other candidates, but it was easy to see that the TAG Link was the most stylish, elegant and coolest! Sizing Tips: I adjusted the bracelet five different times before I got it perfect. I can’t imagine having a jewelry store make these adjustments -- you have to wear it a little while in between to determine the fit. Luckily, I have the required $15 pin removal tool and a set of jewelers screw drivers, thus I can make all the adjustments myself. In fact, friends and family are aware of this and constantly bring me watches for battery replacement and bracelet adjustments. I don’t recommend you do this yourself unless to have some mechanical aptitude and are comfortable working with “tiny” screws. If you are not careful, you could scratch or damage the links or the watch itself. There is plenty of Internet documentation and instruction on adjusting this bracelet. The bracelet is really easy to size, and micro adjustment is possible by varying the combination of large and small links. In other words, if the band is too tight and removing a link makes it too loose, try replacing a large link with a small link. The bracelet has two small links. Also, don’t feel compelled to balance the band with the same number of links on each side, especially if you have a small wrist. More links on the 12 o’clock side and less links on the 6 o’clock side, will result in a more comfortable fit with the type of folding clasp incorporated into the bracelet. ... show more

    • Great watch
I bought this watch for my husband and he loves it! It is a beautiful, solid watch with a clear face and lots of detail. It is a bit tricky to set initially so be sure to read the manual carefully before you do as the date needs to be set at a certain time if day. My husband takes it off for sport and has found that it stops working after a day of not wearing it. This is getting better the more he wears it. I just obtained this watch. Amazon was about $1000.00 cheaper (price/tax) than any brick&mortar store. Watch is gorgeous. I hope to not need to take advantage of the warranty, but if so, I guess the Amazon warranty is just as long as the Tag Heuer warranty. However, like I said, I hope I do not have to use the warranty.
