  • Excellent Watch - Excellent Seller - Excellent Value
Some people should not be allowed to leave reviews, because they are not reviewing the product and are complaining about the seller (there is a section to review sellers). They are here buying grey market products, expecting the same warranty expectations as traditional retail sales. If you are going to discuss the seller be hinest and fair with the review in the section asking for product reviews This is my 2nd TAG Heuer Men's Link Stainless Steel Watch I have purchased from Amazon, and I walk in knowing I am buying a grey market product, just as I would if I had gone to Cost Co. and other places. I am saving thousands of dollars while getting the same quality products people pay retail for. This watch was exactly as I hoped. I made sure to get the black dial face to avoid reflections. I was extremely pleased with the shipping, packaging, and quality of the watch. I immediately took it to my jeweler and had it appraised for insurance purposes. The seller gave a 30-day return and a 2-year repair warranty. I am a Tag Heuer customer, and I like this brand over Rolex. I would not hesitate to buy another watch from Amazon or the two sellers I have purchased the TAG Heuer Men's Link Stainless Steel Watches from in the past . ... show more

  • Day dial does not work after 90 days of use
I got this Tag Heuer Link from Amazon and 90 days after purchase I had to send it to the guarantee because the dial you use to adjust the day was not working at all (got stuck on day 21). Dissapointed that an item of such quality gets "broken" after a few months.

  • con - the story gets worse..
The crown fell off! But since it was bought from AuthenticWatches.com - the story gets worse.... My wife bought me a TAG Heuer watch for almost $3000 from AuthenticWatches.com (AW) who were heavily promoting themselves on Amazon.com. When the crown fell off (!) I called AW to have it repaired & was told that they are not an authorized TAG Heuer dealer, that the watch was not covered by the manufacturer's warranty and that I would have to go through their own warranty service. In good faith, I paid for insuring & sending it to them plus a check for them to send it back to me. Yes, I had to pay both ways (!). I soon heard back from them to say that AW's warranty does not cover crown damage - in fact there is whole list of the most likely failures that the AW's warranty does not cover – this warranty is a marketing scam. Yet, when I called to explain what the fault was, they still had me spend time & money to send it to them - very unprofessional. I smelled a rat so I told them to ship it back unrepaired. I then received an email from the sales manager telling me now that they will fix it for only $500. I had it shipped back unrepaired. I then took the watch to Ben Bridge Jewelers, an authorized TAG Heuer dealer, which quoted me $120 to replace the crown. Needless to say I felt like AuthenticWatches.com is a scammer. So if you want an expensive watch, without the manufacturer’s warranty or meaningful warranty at all, then this outfit might save you a few 100 bucks. But in my experience this is false economy - if anything goes wrong you are on your own. Never again AW. ... show more

  • Love this watch but......
The warranty card did not come with the watch. Noticed it rigth when the watch arrived but with the hustle and bustle of Christmas I forgot to look into it and then time flew by. Worries me a bit about the authenticity/origin of the watch. It's been a year and a half since I purchased and all has been good until yesterday when the watch seemed to stop working. I think my husband got it going again but just make sure you get the warranty card. ... show more

  • Expensive but worth it!
My husband does not do jewelery. He often buys me pieces and I wanted to repay the favor this Christmas. Boy did I! What a handsome and timeless time piece. For a man that does not wear jewelry he has a hard time removing this watch. Pros: It feels great! No batteries, so hard to find a watch that uses manual wind dials. It has a lifetime warranty, if anything even seems wrong TAG can be contacted to ensure best workmanship. Quality. Very handsome. Cons: it is a bit large. We went past the Nordstroms to try this piece on first. My husband has athletic arms and wrists so it does take up some space. It is heavy, the quality of this piece is apparant with the weight. Takes some getting used to. But after a while, my husband stated he quite liked the feel. Cost. This watch with last a lifetime so it is an investment. We think of it if you spend $400-500 on a watch that looses water resistance plus $ for battery changes and style changes x 3-4 over your life. This timepiece is money well spent. Would recommend. ... show more

  • My best watch ever
I was in love with this watch for over a year, when I had the opportunity to buy it I didn't think twice. Very nice piece of kit, the watch is flawless, the finish is perfect, the box is a piece of art on its own. Very recommended to be purchased. It is a kind of watch that if you take good care, it lasts forever. ... show more

  • Costly to maintain long term
Bought my link cal 16 about 10 years ago. Did stop working, had to get it serviced by Tag, took several months and about $600 more of my money (they apparently changed the mechanism). Now, 2 years after this service, same thing... Going somewhere else now. Tag automatics are not good quality!!!

It is gong to be a graduation gift so I haven't given it yet but I have had it running and it seems fine. The setting/winding stem seemed a little tight at first but much better after using it a few times.
