Not to sure what to say that hasn't already been said about this vest. It is very well made and fairly well thought out for what it is. I wouldn't take this into an actual live fire situation but for airlift, ect, it is about the top of the line. It would get by in a real situation but the over abundance of velcro and somewhat lack of mobility holds it back. Also it fits me a bit awkwardly. The cumberbun lacks some adjustability for my body. I am 6'2 with a 46" chest but 31" waist. The upper fits great but the lower end is a bit loose. I ended up modding and sewing mine. I also ditched about a pound of not needed weight. Stitching and materials have been super durable in drills though. This is my somewhat training/weight adjustment vest. Standard plates don't really ride well but they are there and it lets me run heavy and transition to my lighter vest while still keeping the same layout for battery memory. All said, it is an exceptional vest for the weekend warrior but doesn't really hold its own with a true carrier.

This plate carrier is quite a bit higher quality than I was expecting and really came with a lot of accessories that you'd end up needing to purchase seperately that make it a good value. It's put together very well, feels extremely tough and I found it comfortable to wear thanks to the velcro-attached padded panel on the front and rear, which is removable. It has reinforced stitching in all the appropriate areas with the cummberbund having a quick release system. The magazine placard is similarly high quality, as is the drop pouch, with there being some nice organization inside it and having a good storage capacity, whether for medical kit or tools. The fit is adjustable, and again, comfortable even with plates in the carrier. It's also genuine Crye multicam for the pattern, which is another nice touch considering the asking price. I think overall, this is a really nice value and would recommend it to others as it seems quite comparable to some of the premium fancy brands that charge hundreds more for the same nylon material.

So being tall and having a slightly larger torso, finding a good fitting plate carrier has proven challenging. Carriers aren't cheap and at $200 retail, I initially thought it was a great price point. It has more than the average storage options which is nice. The material (except the quick release clips) are very well made. This brings me to the actual release clips, they could have used a better style of pull handle to open the plastic jaws to allow you to slide the other end out. My concern is that like pretty much all plastics, over time, they crack/break. I will say though, once you figure out the proper amount of tension to apply, the carrier comes apart quick and doesn't take very long to put it on. So to me, I found the entire unit very functional. I would have liked to see a black and gray cam style, but that's just personal preference.

After trying multiple tactical vests that either felt too tight, rode up uncomfortably, or simply did not adjust well to my frame, I finally found one that fits exactly the way I need it to. This vest gives a truly customized fit thanks to the adjustable shoulder straps and the front and back hook-and-loop cummerbund. Once I adjusted it, everything stayed in place during movement, and it felt secure without being restrictive. For someone with an athletic build, it is a huge relief to wear something that moves with me instead of against me. The quick-release buckles on both the shoulders and waist are one of the first things I noticed. They make it easy to put on and take off the vest in seconds, which is great when transitioning between drills or just when packing up for the day. The release system feels strong and dependable, which is exactly what I want in gear I trust. The material is another highlight. It is made from high-strength 1050D nylon that feels thick and tough in the best way. I have used it for training in various outdoor conditions, including rough terrain and hot weather, and it shows no signs of wear. The reinforced stitching holds everything together even under stress. I have had it rub against concrete and brush up against metal edges, and it still looks new. Storage is plentiful and well-designed. The main zippered compartments are smooth and reliable, and I use them to carry keys, cards, and a few personal items. The included triple magazine pouch holds full-size mags securely with no bounce or shifting. The middle section gives me extra space for a multitool, flashlight, or gloves. I also really like the side pockets, which give me quick access to backup gear without needing to take the vest off. The MOLLE system is stitched tightly and lines up well. I attached a small med kit and a radio pouch with zero sagging or loose webbing. Everything stays where it should even when moving fast or climbing over obstacles. The padded shoulders add to the comfort when wearing it for longer sessions and also include accessory loops that help organize wires or hydration tubes. What stands out most is how balanced the vest feels. It distributes weight evenly and never feels bulky, even when loaded with gear. The overall comfort and utility are excellent, and I no longer feel like I need to compromise between fit and functionality. If you are into tactical training, range work, airsoft, or just want something dependable for your emergency setup, this vest is an excellent option. It looks good, performs well, and most importantly, it fits exactly how a vest should. I would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, durability, and real-world usability in one package.
