I looked over many vests within and outside of Amazon, price being a factor as it seems there's a big gap in pricing and I'm a believer of "you get what you pay for", don't like wasting money on a cheap product. This vest is well thought out, highly adjustable for fit and utility needs, and most importantly it is built with very durable materials. The belt is very solid, the hooks at the top of the shoulders are metal and not plastic. It does have a left-handed zipper, being right-handed it does stink a little. There are two pouches that attach to the belt which hold mace perfectly well. I would like no velcro on the admin pockets, rather a snap as they little to no noise. I would suggest.. I wish the shoulder padded area either came with padding in all areas of it (not just the thick strip of material in the outermost column) - OR - stitch it with access to where customers can put padding in it. Most of it is good quality. I think the straps that cinch the sides are a little weak but for this price, it’s good quality. It’s better than I expected. I expected some airsoft China stuff which this kind of is, but it’s made with tougher, stronger quality, not as good as something as high-end as Blackhawk, but for a fraction of the price. ... show more

This is a fantastic vest for cosplay - I am beyond impressed! I wish the back was more sturdy, however. The zipper is okay...it's plastic, not coated metal, so sometimes it doesn't catch at the bottom. The mag pouches are easy to access, as is the handgun holster. This is HUGE on me, but I'm sure with some alterations and adjustments, it'll be fine ... show more

For the price, this vest is perfectly fine. The size and shape of each pocket won't serve everyone's needs, so you'll have to be personally flexible in how you use this vest. The one rib cage pistol pocket is pretty worthless. I cannot inset a G26, small Sig, or even a .38 6 gun in there (tried them all at an indoor range). Maybe it's good for holding a sandwich or small water bottle. The adjustment straps are fine, as you'll probably spend a good 30 minutes tailoring it to your body. ... show more

    • The Holster Sucks

I kinda regret buying this. It's very adjustable size wise and fits great, but there are a few things I really don't like about it. First is the holster, sure it will hold a full size heavy pistol, but if you move or lean forward the velcro holding the holster starts to un-stick, especially at the top of the holster, which ends up leaving the top sticking out and hanging away from your chest. This could be easily ripped off. There are two straps attached to the holster which would prevent it from just falling to the ground, but they are not very adjustable so you can't really get them to hold the holster tight to your chest like you would want to. Second I don't like the rigid tube they put in the right shoulder. It can interfere with sholdering a rifle and should just be removed. I'll probably just end up buying a better molle vest and buy the attachments I want for it. Lesson learned again, you get what you pay for, buy once and cry once. This should be relegated to airsoft and not any real use. Other than that the vest feels good when you put it on after getting it adjusted, and there is a lot of included storage so in that aspect you are getting a lot of storage for your money, just really wish the holster system was improved and this would actually be useable. ... show more

The vest is very well made. There are plenty magazines pouches and storage to carry all the that I need. The fit of the vest is good for the average chest size and smaller but may not fit really large chest sizes. I didn’t stretch it out all the way but close and I am 44s. The only thing I would critique would be how the pistol holster is fastened. Top and bottom fastener are good but would be much more stable with additional left and right fasteners. Still overall good. The pistol holster fits full size 1911, Berreta 92s, glock, sig and others. Small carry guns may work but just drop deeper in the holster. My use of vest is to carry my ammo and some accessories will hog hunting at night. Replaces backpack for me. ... show more
