I have numerous brand game cameras and decided to add this one after watching videos on them. I set a tactacam near three other brands on the edge of my corn field and was shocked how many more pictures and videos I was getting compared to the others. The tactacam had 72 and the next highest camera was 27. It took pics from farther away and the clarity of the pics and videos was awesome. Will be selling my other brands and order 7 more.

Make sure that you have cellular coverage in the location that you want to place the camera !!!! Without cell service, it's an expensive box camera - I found this out the HARD WAY !!! The available remote high gain antenna is a help but won't magickly make cell signals "Appear Out of Thin Air". As my Moultrie Cameras die, I'll be replacing those cameras with TC cameras.

I've been using Spartan cell cameras for about 4 years now and have been happy with them until buying these. I find these cameras have a better resolution both during daylight and at night, and if connecting 3 or less, the data plans are cheaper than Spartan's. If you use a lot of data, these are by far better (cheaper) than Spartan because the data is unlimited.

I bought two X-PRos January 10, 2023. They have been amazingly reliable in an area where cell coverage is quite poor. It's east Tennessee so January does get below freezing, but during the day 40's or even 50's quite common. Worked fine sending pictures. I have not upgraded to download Hi-RES pictures or videos over cellular. I just use the stills, and once every few months I swap out the memory cards. Pictures for 16mp seem more like 8mp, off the memory card. They just released an upgrade to FIRMWARE which is supposed to improve resolution of the pictures over the cellular network. I haven't tried that yet since the cameras are an hour away from home. They are a bit more expensive than SPYPOINT, but thus far I am satisfied, and if the XPROS were to be on sale for $100 I would by two or three more of them. It's great I could buy them, and then choose which SIM (Verizon or AT&T) to use. Very satisfied and I would buy again, but think the price probably needs to come down to more like $100, from the current ~$150.00 Photo from CELLULAR transfer

First off Tactacam as a company sucks!!!! You have to spend 1 hour on the phone diagnosing the issue with a tech before they will agree to warranty the product. That’s not include the 56 minute hold time to speak to the tech. They make you pay shipping to return this junk through warranty when it fails you. The send you a shipping label but it’s definitely not prepaid. RED FLAG! I used all of their equipment from SD card to battery. Mine took and sent picd for 6 days then had to keep going to the camera and reformat IG the SD card. Sent it back to them, they took two picture with it and sent it back. Guess what, same issues. Now I’m supposed to pay shipping to send it back again. The customer service reps are amazing and nice, it’s just Tactacam can’t afford to stand behind all this junk they are selling. They want the warranty to be on your dime. Please do yourself a favor and buy another brand. Nothing sucks worse than thinking you are doing your homework and getting pics in your hunting area and the camera fails you hours away from home. This has been hands down the worst product and warranty I’ve ever experienced. My Chinese Amazon wifi camera in my back yard has outperformed this junk by a long shot!!!
