My husband stole my favorite skinny shovel from me to take to his jobsite. (He does that with my tools too). So I go to, where else, but Amazon and start a search. So many to choose from. I found this Tabor shovel and ordered it. When I got the package I was surprised by how lightweight it was and thought, great, this is going to be cheap - I ordered the wrong one. I was wrong - this product is made of very sturdy materials but lightweight to use. Very pleased with this shovel. I may very well order more Tabor products the next time my love of my life steals my yard tools.

Small, sturdy shovel, seems well-made, not too heavy. Bought for purpose to keep in winterized car kit. Would also be good as a camp shovel or maybe very small garden/patio project.

This shovel work great for cleaning dozer and excavator tracks. Real sturdy and the d handle is very comfortable. Gets into those tight spots that regular shovels don't. I highly recommend this, to all operators.

Lots of different ways to mount a shovel like this. I bought the 31” handle shovel for my Jeep when we go out camping or just on day trips. I needed to find a small shovel to attach to my roof rack so it’s always there when I need it. Nice looking little shovel, seems to be durable and the D-grip is a nice feature on a short shovel like this. The turning point of needing to get a shovel was seeing a fire in Santa Fe National Forest a couple weeks ago while we were exploring. Someone had left their fire going in their camp spot, packed up and left. I was shocked to come across this… we had a hard time putting out the fire completely but got the job done. It would have been much easier if I just had a shovel… and no, our two bottles of water didn’t do the trick. Anyways, I went with the rubber mounts that came recommended with this shovel, “frequently bought together”. The mounts work well with the shovel. I’ve also attached a safety wire for added protection should something go sideways.

I honestly thought it wouldn’t hold up well since it’s really light but when I got stuck on a trail and needed to fill holes with rocks and chip away at a rocky bank it held up really well! Obviously the shovel is a little chipped now but that’s it. If I used it like that 20+ timesaver it probably wouldn’t be holding up as well but as an emergency shovel it’s good. Also the color is really red, I love it. I bought Velcro straps from another company to mount it to my rack.

Its a good shovel - definitely the best you can get for the price - good size (I'm 5'8" and when stood up, the handle comes to my collar bone), not exceptionally heavy, though not light-weight. Shipping was fast. There are a few scratches upon delivery like some of the other reviews state, but who the hell cares - its a shovel.

TABOR TOOLS Shovel with Rounded Blade and Comfortable D Grip Fiberglass -Great shovel. Feels very sturdy. My only complaint is I wish there was a version a few inches shorter to fit better in my mid-size SUV.
