I'm using this on a small DeWalt jobsite table saw which I run outside. The bag material is thin and light duty, but it does the job. It's clearly not intended for professional job site use though. A wire spring clip connects it to the to the 2-1/2in exhaust port and an internal wire holds the bag open away from the saw. I was concerned the clip would not hold tightly enough and it might pop off under pressure, but so far so good. This bag definitely helps reduce the amount of sawdust sprayed out, however the 2-1/2in port is only one of the places the waste comes out from the saw, so don't expect complete elimination of mess. I'd estimate a reduction of 50-60% in my case. It will depend on your saw. It's a simple and low cost solution, and definitely helps limit the mess, but set your expectations correctly. ... show more

This extremely simple dust collection bag is no replacement for a powered dust extraction system or shop vac, but when you don't have those available this simple bag works surprisingly well! For the price of this simple, generic dust bag I wasn't expecting much, and the materials and design of this bag lived up to those rather low expectations. It's constructed of thin nylon material, with a light-duty zipper and a bit of bent wire as a retention clip, so about what you might expect given the very low cost. But, sometimes a thing turns out to be vastly more useful than its meager cost might suggest. For use at a job-site where no powered dust extraction is available this is simply brilliant. In my photos you'll see the dust collection bag attached to my Dewalt 8.5" job-site table saw. The wire bail used to hold the bag on the dust port is very generic and should work on any saw with a 2.5" dust port. The bag fills up rather quickly and should be checked and emptied frequently, but it does capture a large percentage of the dust generated by the saw. Not sure how durable this dust bag will turn out to be, but for now I'm very pleased with this item. ... show more

So this really is just a bag so I'm not sure just how much I can say about it. It comes as pictured and works well for dust collection. I think it should survive decently well in a shop, too, which is nice.

This is a review of the CCTIVED Table Saw Dust Collector Bag. A simple and cost effective way to keep the dust out of the air and off the floor. Depending on how much cutting you're doing will determine how often you have to empty the bag. I empty it every few hours which is not a problem since it is so easy to install and remove the bag from the dust port. Just unzip the bag and empty. The bag is made of a nylon material that filters the dust from the air very well. As there are no moving parts durability shouldn't be an issue in my opinion. Cheap and functional is why I would recommend this product to family and friends. ... show more

This bag came wrapped in plastic in a small package, and at first I wasn't sure what it was. After unwrapping, I was at first surprised since I thought a the bag would be bigger. Turns out this is quite the right size after all -- doesn't prevent you from moving around, doesn't fill up right away, and it's a good fit for my Rigid table saw. You don't get rid of all the saw dust, but the majority goes in here and can be quickly augmented with a nearby vacuum.
