This table is perfect for what I wanted it for. I am having surgery next week and was looking for a table that would work with reclining sofa. While the bars at the bottom of the couch prevent the table legs from sliding under, it is tall enough to pull over the arm and will scoot all the way up to my waist on that side. I was hesitant to spend that much on a TV tray but has such a large surface that it can be used for so many more things, and I know that this will come in handy for many things in the future. The design of the legs allows for easy positioning around furniture and the bars aren’t in the way of your legs. Seems easy enough to adjust- it has the little squeeze notch things on each leg. I bought this tray because I was going to be recliner bound due to rotator cuff surgery. I like it so well that I have left it by my recliner to hold my laptop, remote, drink cup, etc. It has become a part of my stand furniture and I use it every day. I like the way the legs glide under my recliner so I can pull it closer to me. I have not had any problem with it coming undone (like some mentioned). My only complaint is it feels a bit unstable in the leg portion when I move it sideways. Not sure if it could be made more sturdy by adding a brace and if they did would it still fold up easily. At some point I may try inserting a heavier pipe in the legs as one person mentioned. For something that I have used several times daily for the past six months I have to say I am very satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

There is no secondary bar to add support for the table legs . It’s a bit wobbly and a drink will certainly hit the floor on this table . Good for use of laptop or writting .

I had a similar one before and knew that the design by it's nature has to wobble when I am using my laptop on it. It does not knock over easily and it slides neatly out of the way on our low carpet. I use it with a Lazy Boy couch with built in recliner and I can put the foot rest all the way out. They make a narrower one that might not work with an extended foot rest, so look carefully. Also, this one does not have the pen holder or the the cup holder, but I didn't like them on my previous model. No sharp edges and easy to put together. ... show more

The table slides easily on the carpet and fits perfect under my easy chair. The assembly was fast and simple. The table is stable and feels sturdy. The tilt feature is perfect for keyboards and tablets and mice. The lip around the table not only catches spills but is a nice rest point for keyboards, laptops and tablets.
