First thing, I love the look and feel of this dresser. Although made from mdf (nothing is real wood these days 🥲), it is built very sturdy. In fact, it’s probably my favorite piece of furniture I’ve ever bought from Amazon. That being said the assembly was not for the faint of heart. The box itself weighed over 100 lbs, so getting it inside and up the steps to the second floor required two people. In hindsight I probably shouldn’t have asked my Dad who just had knee surgery to help. Feel kinda bad for that… Upon opening the box the contents had shifted pretty dramatically. But after unpacking and sorting everything (about a 15 minute process) everything was accounted for and damage free. Yay! “Not so fast bucko” said the Amazon furniture gods. It probably took about 2.5 hours to build the frame. .5 of that was fixing mistakes. It never fails I put something on backwards when assembling furniture. And it took another couple hours to fully assemble the drawers. If I had stuck with a screw driver (like the instructions say) it would have added at least an hour and a very sore hand. If you know how to properly use a drill without stripping out pressed wood board then I highly recommend that. Shortened the assembly a considerable amount. The instructions were no worse than your standard IKEA instructions, and easy enough to understand. But (this is a BIG but…and I cannot lie) I would not recommend this to anyone who isn’t handy. There is glue involved and lots of fasteners. If you know how stuff like this is supposed to go together then great! But if you’re a freshman in college looking for dorm furniture, or don’t know what a p2 screwdriver is this is NOT for you. Anyways that’s about it. The only reason why I gave it four stars is the lengthy and complex assembly process. We love the look of this dresser and it fits in our office/guest room wonderfully. We wanted something a little mid-century modern. The dresser and matching side table are kind of a paint to assemble. There was some cussing and frustration from my husband and I while doing it. It did get easier on the second piece but I do think maybe the assembly could be made less complicated. One corner did come damaged but it's the back left corner and it's not really visible so I just used some white duct tape and it works for us - far easier than trying to do a return, etc. I also painted the knobs silver - they are gold - but we have silver for the metals in that room so I spray painted them. Overall I think it's got great style, a little hard to assemble, still good value for the money. ... show more

Absolute piece of CRAP. Don’t waste your money. Wish we returned before it was too late. But you can’t tell it’s trash until you put it all together and use it a couple times. Then drawers start falling cause they don’t fit right in the sliders. Looks nice aesthetically, but quality is garbage.

The product is awesome. Looks great once it’s done for the price. The wood is sturdy and it doesn’t feel cheap when it’s together. But WOW is this thing a pain to put together. Hopefully you have an electric drill with phillips head and hex drill bits. If you do, this thing will get put together much faster. Expect some cuss words and headaches. ... show more

I was amazed at the quality of this dresser. Solid sturdy, better than I had hoped for. And so easy to assemble. I am beyond pleased. I can't wait to put the other dresser together. These pieces look like the highest quality merchandise I could have hoped for. I will recommend these to anyone that asks. I can't even express how these are the best products I have ever ordered on line. Was skeptical, but now I'm 100 percent sold on these. And though there were so many items included to assemble the dresser, not one screw, bolt, peg was missing. Amazing....thank you so so much ... show more

This dresser arrived on time, but the packaging was torn. The box requires at least two people to carry. One of the pieces arrived damaged. I received all pieces necessary, but one of the drawer parts was missing holes for the screws, so I couldn't complete assembling the dresser. Pictures are attached. The assembly was lengthy, but manageable. The dresser itself is attractive and the drawers are not too shallow, but at the moment I have a gaping hole where the last drawer should be. I reached out to customer service about the drawer part, but haven't received a response. My only other option is to return the item for a refund, but I don't think I can disassemble the dresser and find a box to send it back, especially since the box arrived torn up. Edit: customer service responded and they were able to send a replacement part for the dresser so I was able to finish assembling it. The process of communicating with customer service and receiving the replacement piece took about 3 weeks. I will change my rating from 2 stars to 3 because I appreciate the fact that it is now a fully functional dresser, but the drawers get stuck almost every time I open and close them. ... show more

It looks nice and neat. The drawers work smoothly. But it has the feel of a piece of furniture that will have to be treated very nicely for it to last. I would not order for a child’s room.
