I used all 200 pieces when connecting wire fencing to wooden posts around my garden. These work very well for this application. My only disappointment was that the screw heads were not Phillips-head screws, which would have been a drill bit that I would've had around the house. Once you have the correct bit for your drill, application is easy. They hold the fencing securely in place. They are durable enough for this application, and I was satisfied with them. Worth the cost!

The listing says "Suitable for 4, 6, 8 Gauge Wire and 10-16 gauge welded wire". By "welded wire" they are referring to welded wire mesh fence rolls. Staples are usually used for this type of fence. There doesn't seem to be any advantage to using an R shaped clip like this. They would be harder to hold in place and more time consuming. The same holds true for the 4, 6, and 8 gauge wire. There are screw type fence staples the have flat plates with teeth that are easier to work with, and are also made of stainless steel. (see picture) These clips would only be an advantage is a person wanted a fastener that allowed the wire to move freely through clip. I can't imagine what that would be. Cattle panels are typically made with heavy-gauge wire, most commonly 4 gauge or 5 gauge and are "welded wire" so these clips would not work for cattle panels. Nickel-plated screws are highly resistant to rust and corrosion, making them suitable for many applications, but they can still rust if the plating is damaged, thin, or exposed to harsh environments like salt spray, acids, or high temperatures. The plating acts as a protective, non-rusting barrier for the underlying steel, but once compromised, the underlying metal will corrode. These might be suitable for attaching insulated low voltage electrical or communication wire to buildings or wood solar frames. But plastic would be a better option because it is non-conductive. The primary benefit of 304 stainless steel is its reputation as one of the strongest and most reliable mild steels on the market. It boasts superior corrosion resistance compared to some other stainless steel grades.

I'm so glad I tried these. They are a hassle-free time saver. These are sturdy Stainless Steel fence clips that feel solid. Stainless Steel will last me years longer than other metals. The screws are 1 & 1/2 inch thick wood screws with a good, deep bite. These have made my projects look professional and strong. We live on a ranch, so I was able to try this in multiple locations with multiple different types of wire fencing. I've tried this on cattle panels 4g, welded wire 14g & 16g, and Woven Field fencing 10-12g. These Stainless Steel Fence clips performed very well on all fencing. I especially like how uniform it looks and holds when replacing welded wire fencing on a pen in one of the barns. They are so convenient and easy to use. These are light-years ahead of those old wire fencing staples. Fencing staples are a pain to hammer in, and I always need to get out the bolt cutters to remove them. These fence clips screw in easily with the provided screw nut head adapter. They also unscrew easily, so when I need to replace wire or move fencing, this works great.

I got these Wire Fence Clips from BESTEEL for my garden fence; it is a 6ft 12 guage steel mesh fence, about 100ft long. I’d originally used simple U type nails, but they frequently pull out and just look sloppy. These clips look much more professional and are not going anywhere—the screws are great quality and long enough to survive some serious deer attacks. The stainless steel clips are robust and hold the wire securely. The kit included a hex nut adapter for my drill, which I didn’t expect but appreciated. The best part is I can adjust the position and tension more easily than with the U nails. The price was good too, for such heavy construction and 200 clips.

The clips and screws are well made with high quality. The screws are for wood posts and it won’t work with any metal posts. The screws have plastic washers that make them stay tighten once installed. They are great fasteners for corner posts and any wooden posts in between.
