I bought this for my grandson because he wanted a gaming chair. He is 7 years old, so the chair is perfect for him. I don't think I would recommend this for an adult because I doubt it would hold up for long. My grandson loves it though.

First, I will say they chair looks nice and once it's assembled its fairly comfortable. But, the assembly process is miserable. The quality control is horrible. The base of the back rest is about 2 inches too wide to fit in the arm rests that connect it to the seat portion/base. This causes the support to flair out at the top where it connects to the back rest by about 2/3 inches on each side. The bolts barely reach and require a lot of force to pull it together and even still the bolt hole don't line up so while you are squeezing it together to get the bolts to reach you have to pull the support in a downward angle to line up the holes. If my daughter wasn't soo excited to have a new gaming chair I would have returned this. Summary - Quality control is horrible I don't recommend you buy this unless you are prepared to do light modifications and put in some elbow grease. ... show more

I got this gaming chair for my son & it’s perfect for him. I actually think it’s really comfortable, but at 5’6” the headrest only comes up to the back of my neck. I only ever really lean back up to my shoulders, so this doesn’t bother me. The height adjusts up/down smoothly. Leans far enough back, but not so far you feel like you might tip over. Has a smooth rocking motion. The lever pushed in will lock the chair in place, also locking the tilt motion. Rolls nicely across my hardwood floors, as well as 2 different chair mats that I have. Doesn’t get hung or bunch up the rug. The material is leather & cloth mesh. It wipes clean easily. As far as gaming chairs go, it’s pretty good. Would make a great office chair! Instructions were clear & chair was easy to assemble…up to the point where you attach the back. I had trouble holding the back & armrests in place by myself. Would recommend using 2 people. Also ran into some trouble with a couple of holes in the back. 2 of them didn’t seem like they were threaded properly. Thus, giving me some difficulty starting the screws. After a while I finally got them in, with some help from my husband. Overall, it is a decent chair. Sturdy & very comfortable but headrest comes up just a little short for an adult. ... show more
