There is only ONE reason that a person would be looking for this particular item… and that would be for pulling posts up out of the ground in conjunction with a post puller. I won’t be pulling t-posts up… I’m going to be using it to pull electrical conduit stakes out of the ground! Every year, I put up a Christmas display that has over 40 life-sized characters. Each character is staked to the ground using a minimum of 2 stakes made of electrical conduit. Some of the characters require up to 6 stakes, depending on the size of the character. By the time I take all of my characters down, in the first part of January, the stakes are usually frozen into the ground. Getting them out is quite difficult. I haven’t had the opportunity to use this accessory, along with my stake puller, in the frozen ground. But I have used it to see if it’s going to work. And, FORTUNATELY, it’s going to make pulling the stakes out of the ground a LOT easier for me! Since it’s primarily designed for t-posts, I glued some leather onto the edges in order to give it a little more grip on the electrical conduit and that did the trick. As I said in the title, this thing is BEEFY! It is heavy duty and is NOT a cheaply made piece of aluminum! If you’re needing one… you already know what it is… you’re just trying to find the right one. I’d definitely suggest you take another look at this one. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
