Description

Everyone can count on the Bull Bar from Crescent for all of their deck projects. Unlike similar tools, the innovative 180º indexing head changes positions, allowing the user to easily select the best angle for maximum leverage and access. The Bull Bar has a double fork design with teeth that grip the edge of the board, decreasing slippage and providing a balanced lift on both sides of the nail. Closed positions offer fast action for shorter pulls. Open positions allow for powerful downward force on large planks and are an ideal solution for ground-level work. Additionally, a robust center nail puller will remove ring shank nails and stubborn long nails with better balance and increased leverage.

  • Must have tool for deck demo.
This tool made removing deck boards much easier. We needed to resurface or deck and wanted to save the frame. This tool helped to maintain the integrity of the frame. The pivot on the tool made it easy to adjust angles as needed. The nail remover worked much better than a remover on a standard hammer due to leverage. The tool is solid and sturdy and saved us a ton of time on demo. ... show more

  • Excellent tool
This tool is excellent for easily pulling old deck boards. I am using to pull boards for lengths up to 15' and works great. The integrated nail puller is a back saver. Great tool.

  • Just buy it
I removed 1000 ft.² of 5/4 treated decking that was 30 some years old and this thing did flawless save me a bunch of time a bunch of elbow grease sweat tears probably it seemed to be about half price of other ones that were advertised, and there were no issues whether you were Trying the boards away from you or swinging it towards you. It does a great job. I would highly recommend this over any other method I ground off the heads with a dry grinder of any nail sticking out of the joist. ... show more

  • Works well
Excellent tool, durable, works as intended. Little cheaper at Lowe’s. I’d buy a cheaper product on Amazon next time. Save yourself a little money

  • Makes removing old deck boards much easier
I was skeptical of how useful this would be for removing deck boards vs. a standard crowbar, but was pleasantly surprised. It makes pulling the old deck boards up a lot easier because it goes down on the stringer and provides equal leverage on both sides of the bottom of the deck board. This ends up working a lot better than a regular old crowbar because the leverage point is always there and the board lifts straight up instead of going one way or the other like it would with a crowbar after you finally find a place to bite into as a leverage point. I used this for replacing deck board on a long dock walkway and it really did may the demo part a lot less painful. ... show more

  • Save time and hard work
This tool is very sturdy and versatile. The push in mechanism that allows the head to rotate is the best. It allows you to put it at whatever angle that you need to get leverage. Once you find out your position and rhythm, it goes pretty smooth. My work didn't quite go as easy as some of the videos showed. I think it was because the wood I was taking out was very rotted and wanted to break easily. The boards I was taking out were also installed with square twist nails & not regular nails. Although it wasn't as easy as the videos showed, it was still night & day compared to using a hammer & crow bar. That is the reason why I purchased this tool because my first board I tried taking out about killed me. I also purchased this tool because it seems that I could use it to pull up other things if needed in the future. The other tool that I saw that removes boards was twice as costly & could only be used for this one purpose. I can't compare this tool to others since this is the only one that I have used. I can tell you that it is a whole lot better than a hammer & crow bar. Oh, I forgot to mention that the nail extractor that is attached to the head is very sturdy and works very well. Even on the square twist nails that I had to pull out. ... show more

  • This Makes Removing Old Deck Much Easier!
I highly recommend this bar when dismantling an old wooden deck. It really saves your back! If the deck was nailed down, it works like a champ! If the deck was screwed down, it won't work as easily. My old deck that both nails & screws. After I took the time to remove the screws, the deck boards & nails came off easily. I'm glad I bought this bar! ... show more
