    • Useless cell phone. Asurion plan was a scam. Waste of $100. AVOID!!!
I was sold a cell phone with a non-operational battery that would barely charge. I purchased an Asurion plan just in case something like this happened. The plan I purchased stated that they would cover the following: "Battery Replacement: This Plan will provide one (1) replacement of an imbedded or rechargeable battery. The battery will qualify for replacement only if it fails to accept or hold a charge and failure occurs during the term of the Plan." My battery failed within three weeks of purchase, and the Asurion plan I purchased was supposed to cover my purchase for 24 months. When I submitted a claim to Asurion with full documentation (photos, receipts, etc.), they said they the following: "We reviewed your NO SUPPORTING MANUFACTURER CELL PHONE claim. As a result, we're unable to approve your claim." No other explanation. I checked Reddit, and a lot of people think Asurion is a scam. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ASURION PLANS OR REFURBISHED CELL PHONES FROM AMAZON. I lost about $100 bucks on this venture that I may not be able to get back, and I don't even have a functional cell phone right now. ... show more

Where to begin. Gees, it really is a lousy phone. You can make calls on it, but the rest of the features stink. It will drop out of a game after a few minutes. The lighting will be start to fade after about 10 minutes. I haven't been able to change the ring tones on it. The screen goes black while you are talking to someone. I kept it because I didn't have the money to buy another one. And I really needed a phone. Otherwise I would have sent it back. Basically it's crap. ... show more
