This is a good hammock & frame for the money. Sets up in minutes. The rope spreader bars are nice to have but not needed....the ropes don't really stay in the bar notches very well anyway. Would have given 5 stars but the shipping took 7 extra days to arrive so don't be fooled by 2-day shipping...item coming from China or some other warehouse that prints the shipping label but sits for a few days before it even actually ships. ... show more

This hammock was easy to assemble with the instructions, except for the wooden cord pieces, which needed to be added to the instruction, but I figured that out. The color of the hammock is vibrant and airy.

I don't think I've ever given a 5-star review before, but this hammock has me wishing there were more stars to award. This assembles more simply and easily than I could have imagined. I'm an older woman, with arthritis in my hands, and I can assemble this, by myself, in less than 7 minutes. The bolts and wingnuts used (5 of one, 2 of the other) are large enough to be easy to manage, even with my weak hands. And my "finger-tight" is tight enough! This stand is very stable -- it is rock solid whether I am sitting up, lying lengthwise, or lying sideways with my husband. The fabric is finely-woven and polished enough that it isn't uncomfortable against the skin. This is quite a bit heavier than I had expected, and thus isn't something that I am going to want to carry for much of any distance, but the assembly is so hassle-free that it will be worthwhile to take on day trips.
