I was surprised when the tape came and it actually had the 3M logo on it since the name of the item doesn’t say it’s actually 3M brand. I don’t know if it’s for real 3M brand but it looks like it is. The tape is sticky but it didn’t hold for my use which was to stick an LEd strip light to the headliner of a vehicle. But I’ve been having problems getting anything to stick to it! The cover for the tape is a bit hard to start peeling off. I just stretched the tape a bit to get the tape cover to bunch up a bit so I could get my fingernail under the protective tape. I’m going to keep it around for when I need to mount to something that is not fabric.

I have tested such double-sided sticky tape that have a stronger adhesion than 3M products, but good old 3M still does a good enough job. Of course, there's size, width, and stickiness variations galore. So, you pick and choose that which best fits to your purpose. (But, I always like to have some at home, as it's nowadays my go-to means of hanging things. I rarely drill holes anymore.) And just a note of advice: Sticky tape needs to dry completely, before it can carry much of any weight. That takes at least a good 24 hours.

Works well. Good price for what you get. Highly recommend putting it on one side of the item and letting it sit for 48 hours before sticking it to the item it will be on. Once you stick it together, try not to put anymore weight on it until another 48 hours. That will allow you to have a stronger hold.

I did struggle to peel the red 3M backing off, I mean really struggled. I use 3M tape all the time and keep their double sided tape on hand in several sizes - never struggled like this. Once the tape was in place it worked well.

I purchased the Syybsbjc Double Sided Tape and it works great. The product title says it is Syybsbjc brand, but the outside of the peel off layer and the inside of the roll say 3M. If it is fake, it sure sticks like 3M Double Sided Tape, so I would call it a very good substitute

I'm not sure how it works that this is branded by Syybsbjc, because this is literally just 2 rolls of 3m double sided tape. It performs exactly how you think it would: excellently. I use this stuff all over, inside, outside, I use it to mount my dashcam in my car. This stuff is resilient in pretty much all temps and weather conditions.

I used this double-sided foam tape to mount wall items in our camper. I was afraid that screws alone would just pull out since the walls are thin and hollow, and using plastic anchors didn't give me the assurance I was looking for. This tape is a hero. Let me tell you, the shelves, towel rods, and toilet paper holder aren't going anywhere. They're super solid. I heated the mounting area and tape with a heat gun to help the glue stick extra well. This half-inch size to easy to manage. The hardest part was peeling the backing off as it was a little difficult to get it started.
