In cold wind, this hoody provides less insulating protection because of the material, hence 4 stars. However, I was warm under all other circumstances. Love the coverage on my neck+ especially. The face opening is small and hood tight, so to raise and lower the hood, pull up the facemask to your nose or eyes. I Gave some of these to my adults son's and they loved them too. This set seems to be well made, but they run small for an item intended for adults. They are tight to pull over your head and the hood is tight to wear. The material is probably just right. It feels thin, but it's warm and it doesn't muffle sound. I'll probably donate.
