This device was actually difficult to take apart. I had to get out my real tools. I cannot speak to the substance inside, but on its face seems to be as advertised. I bought 3 and all of them lasted about 2 years then all my calls instantly dropped once they went bad. A friend had 2 with similar experience. Thus we wholly rely on the company that the device truly works, that functionality is good for 2 years tops. I've now gone with a different product.

I also have the air tube earbuds from this company and they have lasted longer than any brand I've tried. I will be buying more. Unfortunately, this product had a short and they refunded my money quickly and without hassle.
