Overall, I really like these handles. I do have a few issues with them, though, that has me rate them 4 stars instead of 5. I've actually made this exact color and style of handle, also with 550 cord, or paracord as most people know it by, so I have a specific standard in mind when reviewing these. To that end, I have included photos of both SWLOR's handle, and one of mine to help illustrate my point. SWLOR's handles the wider one, and mine is the thinner one attached to the headrest. I really only have two issues, and they're admittedly pretty minor. 1) The weave is pretty loose. As you can see in the photo, I was able to pull a lot of slack out of one small section of handle. Contrast to the very tight weave in my handle. 2) There is a lot of movement around the core piece of nylon in SWLOR's handle, as you can see in the photo. Again, contrast that to mine, which is weaved tightly from end to end to prevent slippage. These two issues do leave me questioning the long-term durability of SWLOR's handles, though, in addition to just feeling more sloppy than the handles I made myself. That being said, I want to reiterate that I do like these handles overall, but I do think it would be beneficial for them to both tighten the weave, and make it go from end to end along the nylon core. I do like the width, as it's comfortable and fits nicely in my palm. That may not be the case for people with smaller or larger hands. For reference, I generally wear a size large glove. They're very easy to attach to the roll bar, feel securely attached, and the don't block access to any of the bolts used to hold either my soft or hard tops in place, and the price is great. 550 cord is not as cheap as you might expect, and this particular weave takes a while to do by hand, so I'm honestly a little surprised they're selling them at this price point. ... show more

    • Nice handles, easy install

Install on these is as easy as sliding the handles over the velcro mounting straps, then wrapping the mounting strap around the rollbar. Start to finish was about five minutes and they offer a nice pop of color when installed. Just notice before you start that one side of the grab handles is blue, while the other side is black. Be sure you get them turned the way you want them or you'll also get to learn how easy it is to remove and re-install these handles. Yep, I know this for a fact. I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler and had installed grab handles for the rear passengers but the rubber handles began to deteriorate in the sun and weather and became useless so I made a better decision and got paracord grab handles. I am very pleased with these and k w they will withstand the test of weather and use. Now I am replacing a LOT of stuff in the Jeep with paracord handles and door stops for better wear and tear!! This is a second set of paracord handles I got for the Jeep. I’m using these for passengers to get into the back of the Jeep. The first set did not have three straps – only two. These handles appear to be much stronger and well-made. I really like the craftsmanship in the paracord handles. They're very nice, and they match my other ones. I think they go well in our Jeep. These grab handles are excellent quality and are super comfortable and durable. I go rock climbing muddying all over the place and these handles have seen a lot yet with a little water. They’re good as new. The quality is amazing and the price is even more amazing. I’ve seen other brands at three times the cost. If you’re looking for a really great set of grab handles for your jeep, I wouldn’t go much further than here. They also come in multiple colors to match your specific paint scheme.
