The Swix T149-50 3-part ski vise with 50mm wide jaws is adjustable from 40mm to 100mm. This ski waxing vice is ideal for carving skis, radial alpine skis, and downhill skis. The wider center piece gives better grip and stability on the sidewall of the ski. Based on your preferred working position, the ski tuning clamp can be angled from 90 to 60 degrees.

When the ski season started, I used clamps for woodwork in my basement during my ritual ski waxing work. And I needed a more solid one, so I purchased it. It's a heavy-duty product, and the design might not be changed for 10x years, but it seems like it won't go anywhere. Simple setup and solid parts that it doesn't seem like it'd break next decades. After many,many,years of skiing this is one of best investments that I have made no doubt! The cost,quality,and the build are nice.the only one thing that I’m not fond of is that couple of the round rubber parts fall out when put the ski on it’s side they fall out when I loosen them back up.I definitely don’t over tighten the grip I just tighten them snug enough to hold the ski in place.It just could be a small defect but I do worry about loosing those rubber pieces.especially after the first time I used the vise and I have only used it 2 times. ... show more

Fully cast cast metal construction with good polymer gripping surfaces to prevent any damage to skis.
