I like this cane so much I bought a second. Suffered a small stress fracture in my hip and was told to use a cane to keep as much weight off of that hip as possible. So far, so good. Only 2 small complaints, both involving the product description. There is no “carry bag” as pictured, just the heavy duty plastic bag the cane is packaged in. And… nowhere is the purchaser told to keep the plastic band encircling the folded cane. In my excitement to adjust and use the cane I foolishly tossed it, in the kitchen trash no less. Next day when I went to try folding the cane I realized my mistake but unfortunately my “band” was already on its way to the town dump. ... show more

    • Overall very happy with the cane.
I got the switch stick folding cane in color "Mimi" and I love it. It's beautiful. It feels really nice in my hand. It works better for me than my offset cane. Totally a vanity thing, but for me having a nice looking cane really helps me feel better about using canes. It's super easy to unfold it. But It's a little work to get it to fold up. I had to buy a plastic folding cane clip because the closure strap it came with did not work for me. Neither did the cord management velcro I had laying around. But the cheap plastic clip works great. The thing I don't like about it is ... dropping the cane does chip the paint like other reviewers have mentioned. Every time I drop it on a non carpeted surface the handle paint chips a bit more. Depending on how it falls and what it hits it can chip the paint on the metal cane design part. Thus far the cane still looks good, I could possibly fill in the handle paint chips with some furniture paint pens. Overall I'm very happy with the cane. ... show more

    • Handle is painted cheap wood which flakes and chips almost immediately.
Beware. Handle is made of cheap wood covered with paint that flakes and easily chips. Very upsetting. I bought this several months ago to take on a recent trip. Since i just started using it ot is too late for me to return. Very upset!

    • It’s a very nice fashionable cane and is sturdy.
The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that I can’t position it shorter. However, I like it so I work with it.
