I attached 2 of the BTREEFLO Cane Holder 3 Pack - Black Walking Stick Holder & Crutch Stand (Amazon), so I can hook it to my walker, a table, a chair, etc. when not in use. These are bendable "noodles".

It does stand on hard flat surfaces but tips and falls easily on carpet or uneven surfaces. It's helpful to use a cane that will stand when in the kitchen or store instead of always needing to find something to lean it against. I'm 5' tall and almost 170 pounds. It's comfortable and sturdy enough for me.

Takes a little time to get use to the "stability". I like the idea that, for the most part, it remains upright, and when necessary, can be collapsed to about 12 inches. Easy to collapse and quickly becomes whole when needed again.

So I just turned 50 a couple years ago and over the Summer found myself in a situation where I was going to need a cane for awhile. I felt self-conscious even at the thought but I was awaiting the oncoming of a knee replacement and could barely walk on my own. I knew from seeing other people around using their HurryCanes and actually asking them questions on how well they liked their's, that if I just had to have a cane to help me walk (especially up & down stairways and hills) that the HurryCane was definitely to be my choice! Then when they came out in happy colors, that made me feel all the more less self-conscious! Everything the HurryCane Company advertises that their cane will do is spot on and then some. I went from never walking with a cane in my life to using it comfortably within days. They probably can't say this or make medical statements, but it really aided in helping reduce my knee pain when walking. I was able to go from being an unintended couch/recliner potato to back out and about once again. Ahhh, independence is something never to be taken lightly again! The features I liked the best were the pivoting bottom foot for walking up or downhill at different angles, the ability to discreetly fold up the HurryCane and put it in the seat sections of a shopping cart or beside me at a restaurant with the simple use of the handle elastic. I know this is a much smaller point but when I opened my Amazon box, I truly appreciated getting a durable, nice box that the HurryCane comes boxed in. I could store my HurryCane in after my knee was fixed. Great for keeping it up on a top shelf of a closet for whenever in my life ahead comes a time when I need a cane again... it will then be preserved in a just like new condition. I read the reviews on Amazon prior to ordering. Some people complained it didn't stand up and fell over on them. I only had that happen not even a handful of times. Usually those few times it did topple over is because I likely was in a hurry and not paying attention to make sure I was setting it down to stand up in a rightful manor on the foot.. So the toppling over really was not an issue I personally felt was due to the HurryCane, but more due to myself in my few cases. I feel the HurryCane is a good solid choice when it comes to canes. It has a very good price point and I would have no hesitancy in suggesting this line of canes to friends whether they are in a situation like me waiting to have knee surgery or replacements or they are Senior friends. In my opinion, it did the job it was advertised & then some and more importantly to walking, it is a very durable product... and you feel that securely as you walk using it!

Love this cane! I can fold it up and carry in car . I don’t necessarily need a cane all the time but it’s nice to have one in car ; just in case! Easily folds up and i love the blue color!
