It works but I returned it because I wanted to spend more and get the dock. But it did work when I used a USB c cable with it that was directly connected to the wall. Very portable because it is small and compact. Easy to set up. Functions the way it portrays. Charging speed relies on the charger you are using. sound quality also relies on the HDMI cable being used. I saw one review that said this device bricked their console so I was actually a little nervous to try it out. BUT it works great for me. I tested it on both the original switch and the OLED too. You need to have your own HDMI and power source to make this work. I used the HDMI that i was already using on my main dock and the Nintendo brand power cord that came with my OLED switch. So here's how it did, I tested only one game on each switch, which was minecraft. On the original switch, the audio was still working. The picture looked good, but it did scale down the screen a little bit. The resolution may have taken a small hit, but nothing that would be bothersome to me during a gaming session. On the OLED switch it was better. Again, the audio was still working. But this time the picture did not get scaled down. It also looked pretty close to the original resolution too. There was a negligible amount of lag in both consoles, at least for me. I don't think it'll bother me that much. Over all I am happy with this as a travel dock, but i wouldn't use this in place of the original dock the switches come with. ... show more

I currently use this device as a second Nintendo Switch (NS) dock. This product works well with my normal NS. However, the audio can not be heard when I use it to watch videos on other apps such as YouTube or Hulu on the NS. The audio works when playing games on the NS or compatible devices. This device's primary function is to be used as a gaming dock and nothing more. Perhaps there is a method to use it and watch videos from other apps, but I have not found one yet. If anyone were to consider buying this product, do it. It is a good alternative and the price is affordable. Just keep in mind its shortcomings. ... show more

100% Satisfaction!! Matches my oled Switch and fits in my carrying case pocket. I couldn't be happier!! What is taking you so long to purchase? Don't wait 6 months like i did, huge mistake. I can also imagine this would be a great way to have a more discreet docking method than the original dock. Easy setup, worked great. Only used it a few times (since it’s a secondary setup for a guest room) but literally the 3rd time using it over the course of 3 months it just wouldn’t work. Tried everything including trouble shooting the actual TV, different HDMI cables, different input slots, different power cables. Dragged my real switch dock over to use the guest room TV (same cables and all, everything works fine with my original dock). Bummer it’s past the return window. ... show more
