  • Great fitting
Color: Neoprene Swim Vest MED/LARGE
This has been great to use for my little. We usually put it on him while on the boat. He feels secure and it does keep him afloat. Shoulders and under strap is comfortable.

  • Perfect for my 3yr old going on the river!!!
Color: Neoprene Swim Vest MED/LARGE
This was exactly what we needed for our little girl this summer going down the river. The vest fit comfortable yet snug. The leash between the legs seemed awkward at first, but she never complain of it being bothersome, and it work perfect to keep the vest for lifting up above her head when she was in the water floating. Works perfect at 30lbs. ... show more

  • Not a Life Jacket - Still Not Great...
Color: Neoprene Swim Vest MED/LARGE
As others have pointed out, this is not a life jacket, it only adds a little bit of boyancy to help kid's learn to swim. I think this product is a bit misguided for that purpose. Firstly, isn't only slightly less bulky than a real life-jacket, so it's easy to confuse the two... this is quite dangerous to have around real life jackets (to accidentally use this instead)... and gets in the way of proper swimming techniques, so the usefulness is in a pretty narrow age bracket. Second, there's no handle. If it's for training, I'd really like to see a handle on this to make it easy for an adult to simply pick the kid up... The age brackets don't match the product page. The tag on mine indicates it's good for 4-6 years old, but it fit my 2 year old son decently well; though he is big for his age. ... show more

  • Dangerous! My child sunk...
Color: Neoprene Swim Vest MED/LARGE
This is a terrible swim vest. My son who, is at the lighter end of the weight recommendation, got in the swimming pool and sank. Like he literally was flapping around and gulping water. I had to jump in with shoes, phone, everything to save him. Do not buy this swim vest it literally does not float. I was outside my return window to return it so now I'm stuck with it. Do not buy it! ... show more

  • Perfect fit!
Color: Neoprene Swim Vest MED/LARGE
This life vest was purchased for when our grandson comes to our house to swim. He was here last night, and the vest fits him perfectly! It is made of a very good quality material. The stitching was all intact and finished. The vest was comfortable on him. It has both a zipper that goes up the front and the snap on the top to keep the zipper in place and closed. The material on the vest itself is very comfortable. The vest easily held my three-year-old grandson up and provided plenty of buoyancy for him to float. When he jumped into the pool, the vest did not shift or adjust like some of them can. This is a great product which we highly recommend. All children should wear a safety vest went around water. I am very grateful for this vest. ... show more

  • Well-made, too big for a 34-pound 5-year-old
Color: Neoprene Swim Vest MED/LARGE
I got this life jacket for my 5-year-old daughter, who is learning to swim. She is fearless in the water. Her confidence far exceeds her abilities. She weighs 34 pounds, so I ordered the MED/LARGE size. After a couple of days using this life vest in the water, I can say it's too big for her right now. The vest rides up in a way that's uncomfortable when she's in water over her head. This is true *despite* using the safety strap. The material is a good-quality neoprene; the zipper pull is large and easy for her to use herself. I like the flap over the zipper at the top to prevent chafing and scratching. This is a good life vest, but we have set it aside for her to wear later this summer or next year once she's grown into it a bit more. For kids who are just barely too big for the small version of this life vest, I would look at other options. ... show more

  • Parents be very careful using this product.
Color: Neoprene Swim Vest MED/LARGE
The primary issue we encountered was the vest's lack of buoyancy. Despite the marketing claims of being a "learn to swim floatie," the SwimSchool vests seemed to struggle with keeping our little swimmers afloat. The vests felt light and underfilled, failing to provide the expected level of support and stability in the water. Our toddlers were more bobbing than swimming, with their bodies dipping below the water more often than we would have liked. He had swallowed a lot of water the first time as it failed to keep him floating. I removed it right away and threw it in the garbage. ... show more
