These are very cheap lights. Some of the functions don't work or work intermittently. I would pass on these in the future and pay a bit more for the true 'bright eyes' brand.

Overall happy with purchase. The original item was received and some of the units did not work properly, but the seller promptly offered to replace the order and it was received very quickly. Taking action quickly to rectify an issue like this speaks volumes about this seller; I highly recommend them. These units are a very inexpensive solution for a temporary replacement should your main watercraft navigation lights fail, or if you are in need of something small and inexpensive for occasional use. As mentioned by other reviewers, these lights are definitely not waterproof, but could probably take on some rain and splashes without failing. These little lights are great and just what we wanted for our dinghy navigation lights. However, of the 4 sets (1 green, 1 red, 1 white) only 3 sets worked. This was disappointing as they were for Christmas gifts.

Bought these for navigation lights for our kayaks. Lights up bright enough to see them from a good distance, and the three modes (fast & slow blink, solid) are useful if that's what you want. A couple of them did not function out of the bag, and the buttons on all of them are finicky to manipulate. Additionally, some of the ones we had attached had to be turned on again since they turned off somehow during our trip. Overall, since there are so many for the price, it was worth it, but quality was definitely the biggest concern. ... show more

    • Decent lights...with some flaws

The media could not be loaded. I gave these lights 4 stars because they filled the need I had. I could also give them 3 stars...here's the details... - They're inexpensive. I needed lights for 10 training singles quickly. Because rowers are dumb, I didn't want to buy suction cup lights because they'll end up in the river. Watching a light sink slowly to the bottom like Jack did in the Titanic is not as entertaining as you would think. - They provide safety for the rowers when they're out. It's dark...hard to see...lights make you realize that you probably should not hit the thing with them. - The blinking function makes them stand out more. No one in the club is prone to seizures so we're good. - They attach easily to the handles and rigger of each single. Now the cons... - Because they're inexpensive, they're not made well. They're ok, but not durable. - If they get wet, they may not work again. I've had a couple rowers flip boats and once these lights are submerged, they have a good chance of never working again. -160 Hours of battery life??? That's cute. Got about half that...if they didn't get too wet and break. - They sometimes randomly turn on. Seriously...I know I've shut them all off at night and come back in the morning to find one blinking. I doubt the rabbits in the boatyard are turning them on, but they are smart little creatures. Overall, they're pretty good for my needs. I will likely continue to use them next spring. ... show more

These lights are a nice to have for my kayak. It’s nice to have some extra sets on hand, as I found that the batteries only lasted for maybe a little over one hour in the non-blinking setting — by the time I made it back to the launch, they were a dying dim. The green and white lights attracted every bug out on the lake, and with bugs, there were many bats flying overhead lol. Next time, I might just go with all red lights. ... show more
