    • Causes chaffing!

This is a really good trainer vest with the exception of sizing and the strap. I followed the sizing recommendations but it is too big for my 4 year old who is almost 4 feet and weighs 39lbs. It kept riding up in the water and as she swam in chuffed both of her cheeks and caused a really bad skin chafe. The bottom strap also kept slipping even though it was sized securely and it chaffed her groin area really bad - now she has a sore and we hope it doesn't blister. Maybe it should be underwear like that snaps to the bottom of the vest instead of a strap. I would size down because if it doesn't fit properly it rides up and moves all over the place. At 1 point, it almost went over her head and something could ha e happened if we weren't watching her. So, if it fits your child properly it's a really great tool to learn how to swim. ... show more
