I think the brush is a great brush and works well and should not hurt your pet. My pet is a pain in the you know what and does not like it when I brush him. It is so easy to clean, the hair doesn't fall on the floor or get all over me. Maybe one day he will enjoy it. I just adopted a long time foster and she sheds a little. This brush was so EASY to use and clean off. Her coat is glossy and incredibly soft. I think she rather enjoyed being brushed, with it. I didn't even press hard and it loosened the stray furs and came right off.

I purchased the Swihauk self cleaning flicker brush for my yorkipoo. She has longer fur that easily matts. The stainless steel bristles smoothly go through her fur, and untangling problem areas. Life saver for us. My dog is a mix of Australian Sheppard and Border Collie and she has her shedding seasons that are worse. This brush is a life saver. Super easy to clean and my Dog loves getting brushed with it. I swear it’s a first one she has ever loved. She doesn’t wanna move away anymore when I am brushing her with this.
