The posting for this item states in multiple places and in a diagram "Shelves measure: 16.9 inch (width) x 13.4 inch (depth)." I checked the manufacturers website before I ordered, and it agreed. I had ordered 2 other shelf sets, and they were not as advertised, so this time I was careful to consider multiple sources before I placed an order. The dimensions given are incorrect. If I'm generous, these shelves are 11" by 15" (see picture). Guess I get to continue my search for the perfect accessory shelving. ... show more

    • Good concept, but doesn't really satisfy my need
Hard to get thicker cords through the center portion. I think it would work best when mounted directly below your flat screen on the wall. Mine is mounted to the side of my fireplace with the tv over the mantle.

This shelving is a wonderful product for the cost. I had a little trouble with the wires staying in the slot behind the middle bar. Other than that it is perfect.

Shaky construction. The glass is not attached to anything, instead of being held by a sticker and rubber loose pieces. I am afraid the rub, return it before you open the box. Not a reccomended buy.

    • Measure not only your component, but the power packs (if applicable) for your component.
I loved the BIG shelves this has compared to others of a similar style. Most AV components are using 13" x 10" shelves, while these are much larger. I needed something to fit the Xbox 360 AND the huge power pack. Most shelves won't accommodate, but these do!

Using it to place our Direct TV receiver/recorder and DVD player on top and the xbox on the bottom. Works great because it goes directly under the TV and the cables aren't exposed all over the place. We placed it pretty high up on the wall so there is no interference with the signal (we had all the items placed on a low stand before and the coffee table would occasionally block the signal). ... show more
