Well, this is really a decent wireless guitar system. Not only pretty affordable but a really good performer. It lasts alot longer then it should. However, I should mention I don't gig I lm just a BR studio guy. I was made aware of their newest model, the gumball or golf ball tee shaped one. Yeah, way better specs, newer products more dough...I figured I'd try the old model first. I'm just blown away at the quality sound,battery and distance this entry level provides. I have 5 guitars...2 electrics with passive pickups and 3 acoustic electrics with active piezo pickups. This unit works great in all but 1, a 2005 Ovation acoustic electric. Not sure why. Have to give Ovation a shout. At any rate, this is my first dip into the wireless amplification pool. I can't comment on battery life yet as I just got it, but so far, I walked all over the house with no interference. No latency or volume drop issues yet. I saw some reviews that had signal drop issues if the transmitter gets out of the line of site of the receiver, but I had no issue with that. To be honest, I don't plan on having my amp in another room when I'm playing, so as long as I have good connection within around 15-20 ft or so, I'm good. Pretty simple to use, just turn it on and plug and play. The thing came around 3/4 charged and paired right out of the box, so that's a bonus. There's icons on both the receiver (amp) and transmitter (guitar) to make sure you get them plugged in correctly or it won't work. Folds up nicely out of the way against the side of the guitar so you're not bumping it or catching it on anything. Hey, for $60, it's worth the experiment. ... show more

    • The Very Definition Of Plug And Play!
When I received the SWIFF Wireless I was pleasantly surprised to see it was already fully charged. I pressed the 2 buttons, one on the transmitter and one on the receiver and plugged each into their respective locations. The system worked flawlessly with no latency or alterations to the sound quality. This unit is the very definition of plug and play! I happen to be using mine mainly on an acoustic bass guitar with active Fishman pick-ups, but it also works just as well on my solid body basses. i.e. Fender P, Warwick etc. On a sidenote, another plus is that it comes in a very solid box with dense packing foam shaped to each unit so I will be using that as a protective case for transportation. ... show more

These are solid quality, but a tad noisy on high gain... doesn't really matter if you're using a gate and stay on top of your volume knob though. Very consistent, lightweight build. Nice range.
