My pit likes to chew and gnaw. He destroys toys easily and quickly to get to the squeakers. He hasn't destroyed this yet and he's had it for five hours. That might sound like too short a time to write a review on this toy, but if a toy can hold up past three hours of his gnawing, I consider it a success. He currently has not put a scratch on it, and he's gnawed on it plenty. He's been gnawing on it now for the past hour. He's lying in bed with his eyes closed, gnawing contentedly and this thing is doing great! This is a big toy for big dogs. He can't get a good enough grip on it yet to activate the squeaker, which is awesome, because it is loud, high pitched, and super annoying. My son squeezed it to test it and he's half deaf and he was wincing at the loudness. Maybe best for an outside toy if your dog's mouth is big enough to clamp down on it and squeak it. Or give it to an annoying person/family member for their dogs to squeak them into madness as a prank, lol. It bounces around low to the floor pretty well and rolls great. Since it's an elongated shape, its roll catches him off guard. He expects it to roll straight away from him, but it arcs in different directions, which has had him running all over the place. And since he's the one taking it up on the couch, then slapping it off to make it bounce and roll, he really likes the unexpectedness paths this toy takes when it rolls. Great price and definitely has held up to my aggressive chewer. I foresee this lasting for a while, because he's been going at it and hasn't put a dent on it. I'm happy to give this a full five stars. I'll update if and when he manages to bust this thing up. If it lasts longer than a week, it'll be his longest lasting toy. Would buy again.

I have 2 large dogs that both have a knack for destroying toys marketed towards aggressive chewers. It has been a few weeks and this toy is still going strong and the squeaker is still in tack as well! The shape of the toy makes it a good one for fetch. It is shaped similar to a football and is easy to throw, and then bounces around weird since it isn't perfectly round. My dogs really enjoy playing with it.

My pitties are very aggressive chewers, so toys never seem to look the same after they get them. This toy was not the case, as it was exceptionally durable! They took turns with this one and started chewing, went to town, and I'm happy to say they made very little progress. This ball gets their attention as they try to make it squeak, which is one of their favorite toys. We have two (2) Bassett Hounds that vary are ages 2 & 12 years old. Their interest was keen upon arrival but quickly dissipated. Ha! The oldest hound took possession of the toy and growled everyone else away, including one of the two people who live here. But, after about 20 minutes, he was no longer interested at all. The squeaker certainly acquired their attention but the size or shape of the toy did not seem to lend itself to maintaining their interest. The toy is well-made but it just didn't hold the attention of our "children" for very long.

I don't think even the WORST chewer could do much damage to this if ANY!! It's THAT tough!!! And I love that you can put treats in it too!! Keep em busy! I LOVE that!!
