I was nervous buying furniture on Amazon, but this lift-top coffee table totally exceeded my expectations. Assembly took about 35 minutes with just a screwdriver — the instructions were actually clear and all the pieces were labeled. It feels solid once it's together, no wobbling. The black wood grain finish looks way more expensive in person and matches perfectly with our light gray couch. The best part is the storage. The top slides open to a deep hidden compartment (I keep laptops, chargers, and remotes in there) and the open cubby on the side is perfect for baskets or blankets. The lift-top is smooth and locks in place, so I actually work from the couch now without hunching over. For the price, the quality is excellent. Tapered legs give it that mid-century vibe without looking cheap, and it hasn't scratched at all after two weeks of daily use with a toddler around. If you need a small-space coffee table that looks good and actually functions, buy this one. I would order it again in a heartbeat ... show more

This coffee table is perfect and affordable. One thing I tell people is to always purchase amazon furniture. Good quality and good prices. This was easy to put together the instructions are clear and if you need a video to follow along they have a detailed video. Has storage in the front and back along with the hidden compartment. Very stable and easy to move around. Only thing I will say is that the “wood” seems to stain easily. If we put a cold water on it it seems to stain. Of course its easy to clean with some wipes. Functional, good as a coffee table. Takes a lot of work to assemble almost like an Ikea product or worse. So far been safe from cats opening it. The black wood part peeling on one of the corners pretty quickly though exposing the wood underneath.

    • CAREFUL IF YOU BUY, THEY DO NOT REPLACE PARTS THAT WERE BROKEN IN THE FACTORY

DO NOT BUY I spent 3 hours putting this thing together by myself and got to 2nd to last step (attaching the legs) just to find one of the 4 legs had faulty threads and would not attach. I reached out to Sweetcrispy and they said they do not have a replacement piece for me and do not know when they will manufacture more so now I am left with this big ass busted table in my 3rd floor apartment that will be a huge pain to get out. The table itself was decent, the lift top is not quite as smooth as I would hope and can be quite loud when it closes but it is only $60. The assembly takes a while (lots of parts) but was doable by myself. However since they refused to replace my part I am highly recommending no one buy this product and if you do purchase it make sure you test that the legs can screw into their base parts BEFORE you assemble it so you don't put the whole thing together and find out it's busted at the end like I did. ... show more

absolutely love this coffee table. took over an hour to put together so i’d recommended two people, packed very well, everything’s number, very straightforward directions. it’s not very tall until you pull the table up. super stylish and stable. table works great, my dog walked over the pieces a bunch when we were putting it together and no scratches. edges are kind of sharp so probably not ideal if you have small children. also came with a pack of extras hardware. ... show more
