This is an interesting product to use because it is very concentrated and has a very fragrant natural smell. A couple of taps of the dropper onto a couple of fingertips and then patting it all over the face is sufficient amount to apply. And it does feel very hydrating without leaving me feeling oily in the morning (I've only used it at night). The one thing I don't like about it is it reacts with some of my serums causing them to ball up and leave little sandy beads on my skin that have to be brushed off and I don't care for that sandy feeling.

I really like this facial oil. I've tended to avoid them, because it seems counter productive, but this one has been a great introduction! I love the simplicity of the packaging, it looks good on my skincare shelf. It feels like good quality, it's not cheap packaging. Following instructions, I use 3-5 drops in my hands and then press it into the skin. There is, of course, an oily feeling, but it sinks into the skin beautifully. I've used it maybe 10 times in the last month or so (I will never be a daily skincare girl, it's just not who I am,) so I can't say for certain the lasting effects. But I will say it makes my skin feel good the next day and it's a fun addition to my skincare routine. What I do not love is the scent. The only way I can describe it is "midwest cabin basement." It smells like a cabin, or like Christmas decorations that have been in a mildew-y closet all year. It's quite strong during application, but I don't smell it once it's soaked into the skin, so it's not a deal breaker. Overall, I do recommend this product!

The scent on this SWEET JULY SKIN Irie Power Face Oil is ok, the neem is dominant. Fortunately it mostly dissipates fairly quickly. The oil does absorb well, more of a dry texture than oily. Especially good when skin is on the verge of breakouts.

This SWEET JULY SKIN Irie Power Face Oil is hydrating and it's gentle on my sensitive skin. It's a face oil, but it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. It applies evenly and it absorbs well after a few minutes. It leaves my skin glowing. It also has an herbal scent and it doesn't bother me.

This oil is so smooth and moisturizing, it feels amazing on my skin and after a week and a half of use, I feel like it has significantly lowered the redness in my skin and helped even my overall skin tone/texture. It also makes my skin feel and stay very moisturized. The only thing to be aware of is that this product doesn't have any perfume to it, instead it has the scent you'd expect for something made with Neem oil. It is a strong medicinal/herbal scent that is not particularly appealing, but I honestly prefer that to some fake floral perfume-y scent. If you are very sensitive to scent though, you may not love this one.

I usually steer clear of using scented products in my skincare routine, and boy is this scented. However, the scent is from the tea tree and rosemary oils in the product, not due to any perfumed ingredients, so I'm giving it a complete pass. That said, this product is really great. I use about three drops for my face every other night, and so the bottle should last quite a while--a good thing, because I'm not sure it would be worth the price otherwise. Is this a great addition to my skincare routine? Yes, absolutely. It absorbs well (I'm a combo skin girl), doesn't irritate (also a sensitive skin girl), and leaves my face looking quite dewy in the morning (I only use it at night). Would I purchase this again once my first bottle runs out? Probably not. It's a luxury, not a must have for sure, as there are so many other brands out there with a squalene/salicylic acid serum for 1/8 of the cost.
