I had a set of stoneware plates, bowls and dessert plates that over the years, I was left with just the dinner plates. I saw these & they matched my plates perfectly! So I ordered the little dessert plates and the bowls. These were packed so well, they arrived in perfect condition. The size of the 'bowls' is really good for a single meal - idk that they'd be good for soup because they're shallow with a lip, but they're great for dishes that have some sauce or liquid to them. They work great for me to heat up my entire dinner when I get home. The dessert or bread plates also have a little lip & they're a great size for a salad, toast or dessert & you won't lose any of your food over the side of the plate thanks to the lip. I would buy these again if I needed more. They're very sturdy, clean with no fuss - I highly recommend them. ... show more
