because of the black stripe running down the sides it tends to erase a little bit of weight, pleasantly. I'm a hard fit due to larger waist size. I wanted these looser as lounge pants not tighter fitting as something I would wear out and for that they fit the bill. However because of that sizing problem and having to get an extra large instead of a large the legs are very long on this particular brand and they tend to look sort of like bloomers on the bottom but I puff them out and it's acceptable enough that I even wore them out today, tucking the top into some ankle boots. I hold off on reviews until they're washed and they did not shrink with the exception of the length by maybe an inch-which in my case helped me a lot. Wish they were available in more colors and I would buy another pair. They are lightweight but I wear wool-silk undergarments that I get from Amazon underneath so they're perfect for winter so I can turn the heat down. Of course they'll work for when it gets warmer just without the undergarments. Another note, I noticed that the elastic inside the waistband "rolls" after washing, I do hope that doesn't get worse, had a pair of brand name pajamas that did that and got worse and couldn't straighten them out so got rid of them; at this point in time, I can unroll and straighten out that rolled elastic. ... show more

    • These are wicked comfy, but they're a little bigger than I expected.
I normally wear a size 8/10 in jeans and I typically buy a large in sweatpants because I like my sweatpants to fit kind of loose. But based on the reviews, I ended up deciding to purchase the XL in the black pair with white stripes at the thigh area, and I'm somewhat regretting that decision. I could always return them and get the large instead, but I really don't feel like doing that LOL. Anyway, the waist fits perfectly fine, but I have a small waist so I did have to pull the strings a little tight. The hips fit really huge though. I have really wide hips and kind of a big butt, so I was pretty surprised by how these fit so loose around that area of my body. The rest of the pants down to my calf and ankles fit perfectly fine, but they did shrink REALLY easily in the wash. I washed on cold and then air-dried, so that's saying something. Also, do not do what I did and wash these with anything light in color. They bleed and stain white shirts!!! I learned that the hard way. :( Overall, I would still recommend these because they're a great thick material and they're super comfy! ... show more

I absolutely love these pants. When they arrived, I tried them on and then couldn't bring myself to take them off for three days. I've slept in them, worn them all day, washed them multiple times, and they are so comfortable. The only reason I'm not giving them five stars, is that I've only had them about a month and the fabric is starting to pill in some areas. Which makes them rougher, uglier, and more old and worn out looking. But it doesn't subtract from the comfort and I'll still be wearing these for as long as they hold together. Another con is that I loved them so much, I decided to buy some in another color. So I bought a medium (same size I got the first ones in) in camo, expecting them to be as good. They weren't. They were too big, really loose, long, and baggy, and the fabric was thinner. Not the same nice, good quality cozy fabric as the first. I was really disappointed and returned them. I still plan to buy others in the same color and size I bought my first ones, but it's sad that they're not all as good. I wanted to get several different pairs. ... show more

As someone who works from home, I'm practically living and breathing in loungeware throughout much of my existence, but it's hard to find bottoms at my height and when I'm only able to get away with maybe 27" or 28" minimum (i.e. skinny styleb or lounge) and usually wear about a 34" otherwise for something like bootcut or with sneakers . I'm not having to wear them fake low rise to get them to look decent lol. Granted, because of the slight vertically stretch, they aren't as bulky in the leg but I prefer that. Hopefully the company ignores the complaints from shorter inseam peeps and keeps them as is lol. They're one of my favorite joggers/lounge pants, too where I always I should buy more when I put them on. However, I did get one pair that had the waistband that didn't seem (no pun-ishness) sewn in right, as it kept folding over and hasn't been right since (might try to sew in place) ; otherwise loving these and getting ready to order more. I've been wearing and washing several pairs at least once a week for over a year and they're doing well. I get a lot of compliments on the striped hem ones, which are my favorite. ... show more
