i wanted to replace my 16 inch level that was taken over by my assistant as his own so i thought i would try the 24 incher but it is just long to fit into the space i used to keep my 16 incher and this is the reason for 4 stars not 5 one star off because it is too long

This is just what I was looking for! This is a simple and durable 2ft level with a ruler on the top. I had one previously but lost it. I had a tough time finding a replacement I liked as well that didn't break the bank but this did the trick. Great for hanging pictures or other tasks. I have found the measurements on the top so handy and wouldn't buy one without it. Save your money from a level costing over $50 and buy this one instead! ... show more

This is a perfect size. I repair antique furniture and I often have to check that table tops are level.

    • Metric and inches combo is not helpful for me. Rough around the edges overall
The fit and finish is a bit disappointing. I also wish it had inch measurements along both sides instead of being metric on the other. I don't have the option to position the level anyway I want to measure this way. My old level which is not available anymore allowed me to hold it anyway and still be able to measure left or right. ... show more
