I bought a few Swampfox optics because I wanted to support a young, small company in the massive optics industry and I’ve heard very good things about them. Out of all the swampfox optics I’ve gotten, this one was the best. As far as LPVOs go, this is as good or better than more expensive models from higher end brands. I own a lot of expensive optics and this one performs as well as most of them. I was really impressed with the clarity of the glass, sharpness and brightness of the reticle, and quality of materials. Switching the turret settings is such a satisfying feeling. If I had to buy it again, I’d go with the cross reticle over the dot, but both are good. If you’re on a budget, or even if you’re not, this is a great choice for an LPVO. ... show more

The glass was very clear for the price point. I really liked the reticle and the overall scope felt well built. My issue and the reason I returned it was when I set it to the highest magnification the red emitter produced a starburst effect around the edges of the glass. I really like this scope and maybe I got an oddball with the emitter. I might still try the Arrowhead version. ... show more
