I purchased this barlow lens to view planets with my 100mm telescope. The built quality is good and installation is easy. I would have given this product 5 stars, however. I have yet to get that crisp-clear image that I've read about in some of the reviews. The image isn't bad, but not stellar, I'll keep trying.

The media could not be loaded. Great budget 3x Barlow. With a stable atmosphere you can zoom in on planets and the moon. I like that this Barlow does not create dim pictures or soft looking images like some really budget Barlows sold here on Amazon ( cheap 3x or 5x barlows can create dim/soft looking images). Attached pictures of Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Jupiter. All taken with a skywatcher 300p goto (12in Dobsonian), player one Uranus C planetary camera, Svbony 3x Barlow, Svbony UV/IR filter.

It does work but has a yellowish hue from the cheap materials used for the lens. My telescope has a crisp perfect view without the lens but has limited magnification. Was hoping to use this lens to see jupiter and saturn but the hue messes with the image.
