Bought this on a whim thinking I'd probably find a need, and it's been very useful. Invaluable for leveling shelves in the shop and house, and hanging pictures. Plan to use it to build a new shed here soon. The laser is very bright and shines around the entire room, which is extremely handy (and cool). Comes in a nice sturdy case and can take a fall (ask me how I know...). Highly recommend!

I like to do DIY projects around the house and I wanted a laser level. I looked at the name brand products and couldn’t justify the price for what I needed it for. So I bought this level and I was very happy with it. It was easy to set up and worked great. It’s has a nice case with foam to protect it. I would buy it again.

So, I'm having a hard time giving this a 5 star review, but I think at $60 it deserves it. First, there are a bunch of accessories in the box. They're badly-made garbage, throw them away. What you're getting for your money is a laser that throws horizontal and vertical lines that has the ability to self-level for the final little bit; you need to get it mostly level before turning it on. And that process can be a PITA. For a home gamer like me (I initially bought it to help get a basement theater screen set up level), it's the right tool at the right price for very occasional use. If you need to use this once in a while, or even just once for an important job (Amazon says it's frequently returned; I bet there are a lot of people who use it then get a refund), it's $60 well spent. If you're a pro who needs to set this up every day, THIS IS NOT THE TOOL FOR YOU.

I've had this and have attempted to use it for MONTHS. The level of frustration I've experienced with this laser is enough for me to officially eat my loss and throw it away. Two civil engineers couldn't even figure out how to use this laser. One of them is extremely handy and worked on construction sites. What makes me not just angry, but **LIVID**, is the fact this comes with NO instruction manual. None. All it comes with is advertisement to buy more products from them. This has been zero help to the projects I bought this for to make my life easier. All it's done is raise my low blood pressure through the roof and eaten up my time. I'm so angry that I can't even begin to have words to describe the level of frustration I have with this product. It also obnoxiously and LOUDLY beeps to let you know it's not even. There's NO way for you to turn it off or adjust the volume. You'll go deaf by the time you get the laser leveled. If you can figure out how to use the laser, I'm sure it's wonderful. If not, this is pointless to waste your money on.

I like this product because I could use to do some DIY at home I'm been doing some repairs and this will help if you need a guide to do work that need levers. This one comes with a base and also a kind of alarm that indicates if you are out of level and don't stop tho sound until is level it correctly. IF you are like me that like to do you own repair this is a must need tool. Honestly I'm been using it even to hang my curtains, to install wall paper, molding on the wall. I used it to install my led lights on the ceiling.
