I got this to refinish some surfaces in a bathroom remodel. It worked fine. I and no issues with the motor overheating, and there was plenty of power for my small applications. The handle was easy to hold. The machine is corded, so you have to work around the cord.

Never having had one of these surface conditioning tools before, I was pleasantly surprised at the heft to it - think something similar to a 7 inch grinder. As others have stated, the instructions leave a bit to be desired, especially when it comes to assembling the handle. The few times I have used it, it works well but feels as if it should spin just a bit faster at the fastest setting. One feature I REALLY like is the fact that there is a sticker right on the machine that tells you at what RPM each setting spins. Would be nice if some of the name brand, top of the line rotary tools had this feature! Finally, while it is nice that it includes extra brushes (though without instructions as to how to change them), the fact that it still uses brushes and is not brushless, as most of the better electric tools are, is a bit disheartening, but for the price, it is probably to be expected. For what it is, it works well and I'm glad I got it.

I got this to clean steel grates on my santa maria grill that sit out and collect rust from time to time. I put it to the test and wow, this thing cleaned it up. it was incredible how powerful this burnisher is and the effect it has on metal. Cleaning the grates took me all of about 5 minutes as the machine just tore off layer after layer of rust leaving behind nice clean steel. The tool feels strong and durable and it showed no signs of weakness. I have no complaints about it.

It shorted out after 4hrs of use, where to core goes into the handle. I cut the bad part out and required it , and it worked good for a while, a couple more hrs. Then the stop/ lock button used to change the wheel stopped working, so the brush can’t be changed. Overall It ran ok, and even came with extra brushes for the motor. Had ok power, would have been nice if it spun faster, but was ok. At the cheapest price I could find on Amazon, I can’t be too picky, but it didn’t really for out for me.

I got this surface conditioning tool to fill the gap in my tool collection for refinishing and resurfacing my circular saw baldes, as well as doing rust removal on outside metal objects. It works very well. The 12 inch circular saw blade pictured was refinished in about 5 minutes, and now it performs almost as if it were new. The machine here comes with one polishing roller, a brown burnishing wheel, the same as 80 grit sandpaper. I refinish rusted sheet metal things like mailboxes and PVC fencing. It cuts down on so much tedious work time that I wish I got one sooner. It is a bit heavy, but it handles well. Try it. It works.

This is the first polisher/burnisher I've acquired. First up, the tool must be assembled before use. I'm no stranger to power tools and I'm pretty good at figuring things out on my own. Even though there's not a lot of assembly it took a while to figure out exactly the right way because the instructions are absolute crapola and leave out some steps. First, the instructions only talk about installing the polishing wheel. The handle attaches to the polisher via an L bracket, but the bracket isn't attached when you get it. There's a blind screw that needs to be installed in the bracket, and when you install the bracket in the obvious way it points the wrong direction. I had to install one of the two nuts (not documented) between the bracket and body of the polisher as a spacer using an allen key (not included) to hold the screw in place while tightening it. After that the handle points in the right direction. If you look carefully at the product photos you'll see one where they used both nuts as spacers for mounting the L bracket, so I guess I got it right. Oh, here's another tip: Make sure the shaft spins freely before powering it up. On mine, the gearbox was locked in place and I had to futz with the lock button for a while to get it to unlock. If I hadn't noticed that the gearbox would've blown up when I powered it on. Yay. Once you overcome all that and actually get it working, well, it works, and works FAST. It strips and polishes like nobody's business. It also gets dust EVERYWHERE, so wear a respirator while you use it because you'll NEED it. For the price, this should come with better instructions, a full set of polishing wheels and tool bag. As it is it's a solid 3.5 stars, but I can't give half star ratings.

Owning a lot of rusty things, I thought I would give this burnisher a try. Excellent choice. This burnisher is an absolute beast. It is well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are excellent. This thing has enormous amounts of power. It simply eats rust off effortlessly. This is a very well built tool. Very highly recommend. 5 stars.
