I'm Alec and grew up surfing in Dana Point, CA together with my co-founder Brian. We design all our surf gear and surf It ourselves! Our ripper fiberglass thrusters for max. speed and control. Why use a surfboard sock instead of leaving my board uncovered? Our surfboard sock add a lightweight layer of protection that helps prevent dings and scratches, UV damage and melting wax. It also keeps boards from rubbing against each other on the roof rack or inside your car. Will this fit my board? Most likely. Our stretch-knit design accommodates a wide range of board shapes and widths - from shortboard, hybrid and fish to longboard, wakeboard and SUP. Simply select the size that matches your board length for the best fit. Do I need to remove my fins? Nope. The stretch-knit fabric is designed to fit comfortably over your board with fins installed, making it quick and easy to cover your board after a session. Is this surfboard sock travel-ready? Absolutely. When not in use, it rolls up small enough to stash in your backpack, while the inbuilt Velcro pocket keeps your wax, keys, snacks and other essentials in one place. Is it machine washable? Yes. Simply hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle and air dry. Regular cleaning helps remove sand, salt and wax buildup.
