    • Mytee Lite II Carpet Extractor - A Great Little Machine!
The Mytee Lite II Carpet Extractor has been an excellent purchase so far. I am using it to clean our cars' carpeting and also our home rugs and carpets. So far it has performed flawlessly. It is very easy to fill the machine with hot tap water using the attached faucet adapter. From there I turn on the pump, heat and use the detail tool to spray water back into the water tank until the water is steaming hot. The machine is then ready to use. It has an impressive amount of suction for such a compact unit which really speeds the carpet drying process. Ideally a unit with more water capacity would make home carpet cleaning go faster but for me being a non-business user it was more important to have a smaller more portable unit. It is very easy to recommend this machine since it does everything it is supposed to. The hot water hose quick disconnects and the detail tool came with thermal insulators as the connections get quite hot. If you are in need of a excellent portable hot water extractor this machine should be on your list for consideration. ... show more

Perfect for cleaning furniture and detailing vehicles. I use it on carpet as well. I used a everest van mount unit for years and everytime it broke, it would cost hundreds and even thousands to fix/maintain. Acouple of things went out on this like the hoses are junk so get good high pressure ones. the solution pump went out as well which was a quick fix and 150 bucks later but thats the norm. Very good suction but the heater doesnt keep up so just put hot water in the machine. Ive done a large couch and a living room that wasnt heavily soiled on one tank of water. just get a single jet wand. they use less water. all in all with the versatility and extremely light weight, i would recommend this for any company that wants a very good backup unit when the primary machine goes down. hey buy two because they are super cheap and just as good as their bigger brother ... show more

    • Heater doesn’t work
After fighting for a return through a glitch in Amazon (declining my card, even though I had ample money), I had expected to return this item. Fighting with them and the seller to no avail, I kept the shampooer. I just opened it for the first time( as I bought another one for my business because Amazon kept declining my card. I had no use for this one but opened it for a project on one of my houses.) And of course to my luck with this whole ordeal, the heater doesn’t even work. I have an identical machine. It’s simple to use and I love it. Not when the heat doesn’t work though….. after 2 months of fighting with Amazon, I obviously can’t get anything done about this. I’ll count it as a giant loss. I would give a 0 star rating if possible ... show more

A carpet extractor is a must have for auto detailing. And.. if you're not sure what exactly you want/ need out of a carpet extractor, I'd 100% suggest that you go with the mytee lite! This machine covers it all to get you started. It has great heat, psi, vacuum, etc.. and it's easy to use. As well as being a heavy-duty field tested machine. Now.. some extractors may do certain things better, but.. this mytee definitely does all the things that you need and it does them well. Now.. if you have a shop or a large mobile business going already.. I would assume that you know this is a entry level unit. This machine is definitely for someone in the driveway looking to expand their options, performance, and results. Or... for the bigger business to throw in the trailers and go. Summary: get it! Use it! And know that you have a machine that can be used in some way At any level of car detailing. ... show more

i use big portable to clean rugs and bought this as a replacement when i just had to do stairs. the built in wheels and riser handle is convenient. the hose length is long enough to reach the top stair and part of the hall with the unit on the first floor. it sprays okay. My old unit which still works only has about 50 psi and it comes with a nice stainless steel spray suck tool. the bad. they put the power cord just above the wheels so it scrapes every time you roll it up the stairs so forget rolling up any stairs. I've got to tape the cord after 3 jobs. the stainless steel head is to small to do stairs so forget that. the heater gets the brass coupler so hot you simply cannot disconnect the unit. I put on a cool cuff quick connect. the little prongs to hold the power cord are too small so the cord falls off. they put in a monstrously large heater in here. 2000 watts? it blows circuits. i feel what happened is some engineers build this without actually consulting a carpet cleaner. why whould they. we're only the ones who use these tools. had they actually field tested a beta unit for a week unit before putting in field they would have seen these mistakes and found out wow. that cord is really in the wrong place and i just burned the snot outta my hand we need a cool cuff on there. etc. I brought it to my main vendor and tested it against their 50 psi machine. it sprayed better so i'm keeping it. the unit is okay but i most of the time don't run it with heat. they should have put a 1700 watt heater in there instead of a circuit buster. forget running anything else if you run this thing with the heater on. also. the switches are hard to read. how about a nice bright red flame to show heat? and a suck picture to show suction. or better yet before you put out a new unit how about simply field testing it for a week then go back and fix all these little things and make a truly great machine instead of more of the same. ... show more

quality of plastic and especially finishes should be better for our money, some loose parts and broken plastic in the suction hose connection, outside of that it meets cleaning expectations
